I haven't finished my DP Movie Marathon, but since my opinion on one princess changed strongly and some other princesses has switched places too I decided to give you my updated favorite princess list. I just want to point out that I love all of them so even though your favorite is low on my list it doesn't mean that I hate her, I just don't like her as much as the other princesses!

10. Ariel

I have a neutral feeling for her. I don't like her so much when she's a mermaid, but as a human she's interesting and hilarious. However my favorite thing about her is that she's very curious over the human world. I prefer her personality in the 2nd movie even though she wasn't the best mother.

9. Pocahontas

The reason to why Pocahontas is higher is because she's more interesting and has a better personality and isn't as flawed as Ariel is. But why she isn't any higher is because in the middle of the movie her personality becomes less interesting and the wild person of hers is gone.

8. Mulan

There's a simple reason to why she's higher than the other 2, her personality doesn't become less interesting, but I find her personality to be a bit uninteresting, but I still love her.

7. Rapunzel

I love how she's so active despite being locked in a tower and how she stood up against Mother Gothel in the end of the movie, but it's annoying how she's loved by everyone she meets in the movie even Mother Gothel. But she's a great add to the princess line-up.

6. Jasmine

She's not as bad as I thought she was. She's very smart and I love the fact that she didn't marry a prince like the earlier princesses did and the fact that she longs for freedom despite being a princess, but she can't beat my top 5.

5. Tiana

At first after I saw The Princess and the Frog at the cinemas I didn't really care for Tiana, I thought she worked too hard, but after the second time I started to slowly fall for her, I love how she works so hard to acheive the money she needs to open up her own resturant and I love the relationship between her and her father, it's one of the best father-daughter relationships in a Disney Movie in my opinion. She does lose her good points when she becomes a frog which is why she isn't any higher on the list.

4. Belle

I don't care if people finds her to be too perfect or just don't like her, I've always loved Belle because she reminds me of myself because we both love reading books and dream of the adventures that happens there and we have a similar personality. I do wish I was an unjudgemental person like she is. But the fact that she went into The West Wing when she wasn't supposed to is the reason to why she didn't make it to the top 3.

3. Cinderella

As you've might been discovering my top 3 are the three first princesses, it's because I love their personalites and they are similar to each other in many aspects. Anyway the first one I'll talk about is Cinderella. I love how kind hearted she is to her animal friends even though she wasn't so kind to Bruno and Lucifer. I also love how she kept beliving in her dreams despite having to work very hard. But I just love the 2 above a bit more.

2. Aurora

I don't care if she only had 18 minutes of screentime to me she's very interesting. I love how she's very dreamy and talks a lot about the prince she met in her dreams. Like with Belle I can relate to Aurora a lot, she's the princess I can relate to the most because I'm also shy infront of new people and I often tend to have my head in the clouds and I can pretty easily get emotional, but instead of easily get sad I can easily get angry over a lot of things, but yeah I can relate to her a lot. But she doesn't beat my number 1!

1. Snow White
I made this photo which I'm so proud of, it became so pretty<3
I made this photo which I'm so proud of, it became so pretty<3

This will never change, she'll always be my number 1. Again a princess I can relate to a lot, in terms of both looks and personality I'm the most similar to her. The main reason to why I love her is because of how optimistic she is and the fact that she loves animals and nature which I do too.

cute list, I love how you have the classic princesses as your Top 3 :D I also love how you like Tiana too. My list is really different from yours though, you have some of my favourites at the bottom and Belle will never leave number 10 no matter how much I relate to her. All in all, very good list. :)

Tiana and Belle are almost in the same spot on my list (just switch their numbers), and Pocahontas is my #10. Rapunzel is also my number 7! Other than that, our lists are very different, Ariel is my #1 and Snow White is my #9... I still love all the princesses though. :)

Good article overall, I enjoyed reading it.

Thanks for the article, although the only thing I can agree with is your placement of Cinderella - I always found her amazing, strong but unfortunatelly very underrated. Ariel, Mulan and Rapunzel are my favourite princesses so I cannot agree with your opinion on them and I think Pocahontas was much more flawed than Ariel because unlike Ariel who fell in love with a great guy who never mwant any harm to her family or friends, Pocahontas instantly got drawn to a cute blonde narcissistic male who came to her father's land to posess it and almost shot her during their first meeting. But I still love Pocahontas though. Snow White is my least favourite, but I lie reading posts pf people who love her.

I don't understand why many criticize Belle for going to the West Wing. Belle never promised to obey Beast, she only promised to take her father's place. You wouldn't criticize her for disobeying Beast's order to eat dinner with him, right? Why should her disobedience of Beast's other orders be different?

Obedience to unreasonable or unjustified orders is a character flaw, not a virtue. Conversely, disobedience to unreasonable and unjustified orders is a virtue.

Of course, Belle does break her promise to stay at the castle, but even then it's a little ambiguous. She runs away after Beast yells a somewhat ambiguous "GET OUT!"

Your bottom 3 are my top 3, interesting... I like your list though, it's quite refreshing because it's very different from a lot of others. I like Snow White for the same reasons you do, and it's nice to see that Jasmine's moved up on your list. Good work!
