Obviously, Shan yu deserves the number one spot
Obviously, Shan yu deserves the number one spot
I'm slightly obsessed with eyes. I love drawing them, I love looking at them, and when I look at the beauty of a person, princess or not, the eyes play a big part in their attractiveness. So I decided to make an article about my favorite Disney Princess eyes. Honestly, they all have gorgeous eyes, so this will be difficult. But, I shall try my hardest. Oh yeah, Anna and Elsa are included.

13. Cinderella
Her eyes are a really pretty color. They are an amazing shade of blue, and... well, that's about all I like about them. The shape of them is really weird, and in a lot of shots, they are just plain creepy. In the third movie they are quite pretty, but for the first movie, they are just weird.

12. Aurora
I hate to put her down here, but I have too. I really like her eyes in some shots, but the color is very inconsistent. Sometimes they are a lovely shade of purple, sometimes they're black. Also, I don't really like the shape. I don't know, it just looks weird, and they look so weird when I attempt to draw them D:. She still is very pretty, but her eyes are just not my favorite.

11. Ariel
In some shots, she has absolutely gorgeous blue eyes, but in some scenes, her eyes look oddly shaped and strange. Plus, her eyelashes are weird. It looks like she only has three. They aren't awful, and the color is nice, but the shape and lashes ruin it for me.

10. Tiana
Tina's eyes are pretty, they really are. However, I can't put them higher because she has a very strange eye color. I don't even know what color it is, it's sort of gold, I guess. Her eyelashes are also weird, it just looks like she has one single eyelash. But, she does look good with them, I just can't put them any higher.

9. Mulan
She has pretty eyes, when you look at them, the animators managed to make her eyes look so deep, and give so much emotion without having any color. The shape is also very pretty. Now you may be wondering, Darby, those things seem pretty important, so why are they so low? Well, the reason is because of the lashes. They literally look like one lash, even more than Tiana. Also, sometimes she looks like she has none. So, love the color, LOVE the shape, and hate the lashes.

8. Snow White
Her eyes, just like a lot about her, are cute. There isn't much that I dislike about them honestly, the color is nice, the shape is a little round, but still pretty, and the lashes are adorable. I guess they just don't interest me that much, I don't have all that many things to say about them, and the ones above I just like more.

7. Pocahontas
I swear I don't hate brown eyes! Or black eyes.. or whatever the heck colored eyes! Her eyes are very pretty, I must admit, I mean some shots make them look just awesome, and the shape is perfect, but some shots.... gurl what happened! D: They look like... beans ( I don't know I'm too tired for comparing) But the dark brown color is gorgeous, I actually don't hate the lashes, and the shape is just asdfghjkl amazing!

6. Elsa
Oh ho ho! Barely missed out on the top five, now did you Elsa? Jealous much? Okay, just kidding. Actually, I love her eyes. Elsa easily has one of the prettiest eye colors out of all the DP's, what with the bright blue. The makeup that she wears, while heavy, does compliment her quite a lot, but her eyes don't look as good during the coronation, and maybe it's just me, but her eyes look better on less pale skin, like Anna's. Anyway, pretty eyes, just not the best on her... I guess. Also, you can't see as much detail in the eyes like you can with Merida or Rapunzel.

5. Anna
For the first time in forever, Anna's not in my top three! No, just kidding, anyway, maybe it's just me, but Anna and Elsa's eyes look almost eerily similar. Even by sister standards, there's no denying it, they're one of the same. But I like Anna's eyes a little bit more, I swear I'm not biased! But I guess that they look better with her skin tone, more than Elsa with her pale (but gorgeous!) skin. Also, I LOVE how they look in "For the First time in Forever". They look so bright and happy, and it looks absolutely gorgeous.

4. Jasmine
A lot of people think her eyes are too big, strangely shaped and not realistic enough, and I used to think that as well, but then I realized most things in the movie are! So I don't care as much anymore. Her eyes have a great color, it's such a pretty chocolaty(is that a word?) colour, and the shape is so pretty. It isn't higher because I just like the other ones better.

3. Rapunzel
And now, to everyone's favorite green eyed Disney Princess (mostly cause she's the only one with green eyes!) Rapunzel. A lot of people give her crap for having huge eyes, but personally, I see no problem with it and I find them quite pretty. As I said before, I love that they're green, and that they are so detailed!

2. Belle
I swear, her eyes are the only reason she isn't last on my prettiest list. And for good reason, as they're obviously her best feature. Just look at them! She has gorgeous, captivating eyes with a gorgeous hazel color, a beautiful eye shape, and absolutely amazing eyelashes. I don't know what draws me to them, but in almost every shot she's in, the animators make her eyes look great. The only reason she isn't number one is because I like a certain princesses eyes a wee bit better than hers.

1. Merida
This girl is going up for everything on my lists. Her movie's one of my favorites, she's tied with Rapunzel for fourth, she's my prettiest DP, and now this. But what can I say? Her eyes are perfect, in every shape, way, or form. The color is the most beautiful shade of blue that I can imagine, the detail in the animation is absolutely superb, the shape is lovely, and even though she doesn't have prominent eyelashes, it still doesn't distract from the fact that her eyes are, always have been, and always will be, the prettiest.

So that ends my ranking of Disney Princess eyes, which took FOREVER because I am incredibly lazy, so I hope you enjoyed it, and weren't too disgusted by my awful writing skills. Please comment below if you liked it and agreed with my placements, and even if you didn't, a comment would be appreciated. Goodbye!

I used to give into the hype and I still like her but I've recently realized that she's not that strong or effective of a villain. I've never seen the Angelina Jolie live action movie and quite honestly I don't think I ever will. This is all based on the original Sleeping Beauty.

Now, Maleficent definitely has the classic villain personality (sinister, petty, arrogant) and aesthetic. (she can turn into a dragon, and green fire is cool) She's one of the most quotable and meme-able villains in all of Disney. In fact, I think she's the one who really perfected the look and feel of a "Disney Villain"...

I'm actually looking forward to watching this a little more than I did when I had to watch Maleficent. This remake may not live up to the standards of the original but personally it's always been enjoyable to watch.

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
The first time I watched Cinderella I did like it and there were some changes I liked but then there were some changes I really had to question. Even with the problems I have with this movie I still like to watch it every now and then.

How much of this movie have I forgotten:

Since the...

This is another sequel I haven't seen in forever. Longer than forever, actually. I would say I'm excited to watch this but after Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World I'm not looking forward to watching this one.

Tonight's rewatch: Cinderella II: Dreams Come True
Last time watched: 2002

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
The beginning of this story is exactly the same as the one about Pocahontas 2; I wasn't into the original that much when I was a kid, but then this cartoon Disney movie with familiar faces came out, begged my dad to get me a copy, fin. But unlike Pocahontas 2 I actually did...

Here's the article for Pocahontas!

I know in the past I've made comments about how I don't like this movie because it's been said that the tale of Pocahontas saving John was a lie and I've also said I can't stand Pocahontas and John together because it's gross Pocahontas was aged up for this movie. However I will watch this movie and just enjoy it without thinking about those things.

By now you should all know what I write about in these articles so I'll just go ahead and start!

Tonight's rewatch: Pocahontas
Last time watched: Summer of 2011

Tangled is my favorite Disney movie for many reasons besides the wonderful storyline and beautiful imagery. I really relate to Rapunzel in so many ways. I try to be optimistic and see the beauty in the small things in life. I try to stay hopeful and occupy my time with many hobbies. I have so many interests and love learning about them and learning about the world and other cultures. We also share physical features, brown hair and green eyes, and prefer walking outside barefoot. I also have some German heritage, so I relate to her that way as well.

My mother also acts a lot like Mother Gothel....

While it hasn't been confirmed, various clues have pointed to Moana eventually joining the Disney Princess lineup. This process only involved 20+ users, which I think is a good thing, we'll save the BIG survey for after Moana's official coronation. That's why I didn't ask for comments or use fancy pics. Since the pool of users is so small, I wouldn't say these results are absolute and concrete. This is just a small preview of where Moana as well as the other princesses stand.

12. Merida-178 points

To the surprise of literally no one, Merida is dead last. Often criticized by DP fans and...

Now with all the issues, people have with Disney, one of the films that have legitimate grievances is Pocahontas. And as you can imagine, because there ARE legit grievances to be had with Pocahontas, sites like Tumblr have an absolute field day with it. Personally, the more research I did on the situation around this film, the more I was actually fascinated by it.

I know it's easy to write this movie off but how it came to be is a lot more nuanced than you think. It actually was gonna be a story closer to what happened in history but then Jefferey Katzenberg's overwhelming desire to get another...

Though not nearly as much as Merida and other revival princesses,Tiana is occasionally bashed for contributing to Disney's current trend of "meta", "woke" commentary with her whole "hard work, you can't just wish" shtick. While this does irritate me, I try to separate film makers' intentions from the actual context of the movie and the character.

In the first act of the film, she's portrayed as diligent and determined but she's not as in your face about it. For the most part, her thing is "partying and dancing just isn't my for me". She's not insistent, condescending or critical of others for...

As asteriamalfoy recently reported on the club wall, it appears that Moana will soon become the newest member of the Disney Princess lineup. The club's reception to the news is a mixed bag, which is the latest example of how the general Fanpop opinion (namely, this club's opinion) doesn't always match that of the internet. It's interesting why that is, and I will attempt to find the reason here.

Before going forward, be aware that everything that I consider an "opinion" of Fanpop and/or the internet is a generalization. True, there are some users on both this website and the rest of the worldwide...

I finally worked out how to do this. My mistake was mixing too many languages together which made it impossible to translate it back into full English. That's why Snow White's paragraph came back with only one sentence. I've done a remake of it with funny results including Cinderella and Aurora's stories.

"Snow White was born into the royal family. Her mother died shortly after her birth. After some time, Snow White's father remarried a vain and cold-hearted queen. Not long after their marriage, the King, Snow White's...
