This isn't in order of what I like, this is the order they are shown in the movie.

1. The Rags
Am I the only one who likes this? I think it's cute how she is showing off her dress like she thinks it looks good. Of course it looks ridiculous when it's all bunched up, but after it smooths out, I think it's pretty. White is probably the best color on Ariel (besides her green fishtail and purple seashells). I wouldn't like it as clothing, but it's the first thing she wears, and only for a few minutes, I think it looks good on her.

2. The Pink Dress
Of course this one clashes with her hair. But I think it's good that they did this in the movie. The fact that they had a spare dress in the castle, I think it subtly shows that they didn't expect a girl with bright red hair. I actually like the way it looks, and I think it's ok that she wore it for a little bit.

3. The Pink Nightgown
This one is cool because Ariel looks really cute and innocent in it. It's simple, loose-fitting, and flowy. I don't have much too say about it, but I think it matches the mood each time we see her in it.

4. The Blue Dress
I really love this one. I love the way it twirls when she dances. I love the length of it; it cuts off above her ankles, which I think is pretty during the scene where the shell necklace breaks at her feet. I think the color is fine. There's only one part of the movie where her hair is bright red while she's wearing that dress. That's during the tour of the kingdom. When they are in the lagoon, her hair looks darker and it matches the dress better. When they crash the wedding, the light of the sunset changes her hair color again, and I think it matches decently. I probably like this dress because it looks like Aurora's peasant dress, which is one of my favorites (I'll write another article about my favorite DP dresses later). I also like the bow she wears with this dress. I think it's adorable on her. And I like how she's not wearing the bow during the more serious scenes.

5. The Sparkley Dress
I love this dress. You only see her in it for like ten seconds, but I think that makes it even better. It's pretty, sparkley, twirly, and I like the style of it. It shows her shoulders, and I think that style suits her very well (of course because she's a mermaid).

6. The Wedding Dress
I don't mind this dress. During this scene, I'm not focusing on what she's wearing. The white color looks good on her like I said before. I do think the puffy sleeve things are kinda big, but again, I don't mind. I think it suits her, as a lot of things about Ariel are big: her hair, eyes, the blue bow, and her personality. Ariel's really happy in this scene, and that's what I see, not her dress.

So, I just finished watching Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, because I plan in rewatching all Disney Princess movies in order. I'll also write a review for each after I watch it - except Frozen, maybe, since I already did, but I may write a comparision about what changed in my opinions.

I'll also try giving each part (plot, music, etc.) a score, but I warn you I can't be too harsh.

Without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, the fairest one of all: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

The Plot:

I see almost no problems with the plot. in addition to being concise, it's charming and captures...

Frozen Movie Review!
Hi everyone! I stumbled upon the Disney Princess page while I was reading movie reviews for Frozen. I absolutely love Disney and enjoyed reading the articles posted by other members, and I wanted to write my opinion on how Frozen compares to the other Disney Princess films, its faults, and where it succeeds.

I broke the review up into 3 sections: Music, Story & Characters.

Music
Unfortunately, like Princess and the Frog, I believe Frozen only really had one stand out song (“Let it Go”), the rest weren’t particularly enjoyable or memorable. “In Summer” and...

I've been a part of this fanclub for a while, and it's my favorite club on Fanpop, so I want to share with anyone willing to read, my Disney Princess list. A lot of factors take place during their list including, personality, style and enjoyment of their feature films. This is my opinion so please don't be offended by anything. Also note, that I don't HATE any Disney Princess. I do hold all of them dear to me, even if I complain about them.

11) Merida- Before you all roll your eyes, I have to admit that when I saw the first commercial for Brave I was so excited and forced my boyfriend to take...

Boring and Too Short
Boring and Too Short
The Disney Princesses have the most amazing hair, like ever in my opinion anyways, though some more so than others. So here's my list starting at the bottom.
13. Snow White
Sorry Snow White but your hair is just boring. It's super short and I've just never been a fan of short hair. I like that it's curly but that's pretty much it.

12. Tiana
Her hair is really only slightly more interesting than Snow White's.I hate that she only wears it in a bun through out the entire movie, I wish she would wear it down. I like her curls though, they are cute.

11. Cinderella
I find her hair pretty bland as...

I did an article on this a while ago, but my opinions have changed a lot since then and Merida wasn't a member of the group back then so I think it's time for an update. Also, I believe all the princesses are BEAUTIFUL so even my last place is great :)

11. Merida

It's too cliche, I won't say I'm in hate! It pains me, pains me, that I have to put Merida in last, especially since she gets oh so much undeserved hate, although I feel she deserves last. Her hair is amazing! I love the color, the texture, the OOMPH! It's all just so awesome to look at. I also like her body, it's very realistic...

I've written this type of article so many times now, but I felt like writing an updated list anyway, as soon as I've watched all the DP Movies I might update the list again

11. Merida

She's the only Disney Princess I don't like at all. First of all she's way too rebellious and now I feel that Disney should take a break from those types of princesses. Also she's very whiny and her personality isn't very interesting to me and she annoys me so much

10. Tiana

Despite only being 10th I like Tiana, I love how determinded she is over opening her own resturant. But what I love the most about...

I am sorry that I too a long hiatus, but I had A LOT to do in the end of August to now, and I am going to finish this series, so here I am again. I decided to start a series of analyzing the DP Couples in depth (and later, the other Disney Couples) after I got bored one day, and wanted to write a series of articles. You can recommend me which couple to do next in the couples section. So here is how it is going to go. I will first explain my overall statement about the couples in a paragraph, and then I will analyze each scene to look at the inner and outer feelings of the characters individually...

One of the reasons to why I love most of the Disney Princesses is because I can relate to them so I decided to make a list of that, hope you'll like this article

11. Merida

She's the only Disney Princess that I can't relate to AT ALL, the closest would be that we both enjoy being outside and long for freedom and the relationships between our mothers is sort of similar in the beginning, but after Elinor became a bear she and Merida's relationship became so different from me and my mother's. But other than that we're each other's total opposites, Merida wants to break traditions, I sometimes...

Every Disney Princess needs and Villain and every Villain needs to get defeats so we can have our happy ending! So which villain had the best defeat/death? (Because not all of them died). Here we go!
(If you haven't seen all the films, I will be spoiling the deaths by saying what happened, so...be careful)

11: Governor Ratcliffe
If this was a best Villain's singing voice I think he would win...but sadly this was a best defeat and Ratcliffe that is in one way that you failed really badly in. Here's what happened. He shot at Pocahontas's dad, but Smith took the bullet, and everyone got mad and...

I don't mean to start off by sounding so corny but...I JUST DON'T GET IT! One minute, we hear about a new DP, the next we hear about 2! Now we're hearing about spoiler after spoiler after spoiler! I know there's a thread for spoilers on here, but that's not what I'm talking about right now. I'm talking about how CONFUSING it's all sounding! We don't even see a real trailer, we hear about books being released before the movie comes out, what's next? *Takes a deep breath* First off, let me talk alittle about Elsa.

I'd be fine if Elsa was an unofficial DP, but because she's a queen and Anna's sister,...

I'm so excited to finally get to write this article! I thought this was an incredibly interesting countdown, and I want to give a huge "Thank you!" to everyone who participated. This was my first countdown and it was so much fun! I have a bunch of ideas for other ones I can conduct in the future. So anyway, I'm gonna stop blabbing now and get to what you're all actually here for: the results! Enjoy...

10. The Princess and the Frog

It was no surprise that this movie came in dead last. It was practically a unanimous vote! Every single person who commented voted that this should be the first to...

Princess Aurora, gold of sunshine in her hair, lips that shame the red, red rose, and a personality that shames us all.

Now Aurora is not completely bad. She's got a nice voice, she's pretty, everyone remembers her song, "Once Upon a Dream," and of course, the iconic scene of her sleeping in bed (don't get the wrong idea). But man!!! This chick is as bland as I don't know what!!

As far as Disney Princesses go, Aurora is probably the least popular of them and it's kinda plain to see why.

Let's look at it for a minute.

1. Aurora doesn't really do anything besides walk around, look pretty, sing, and...

A lot of people say that children take bad lessons from some disney movies, I don't agree, I will say some of the movies that I enjoyed most and took very nice lessons from them and from their characters. I also have links so you can see them too. I choose movies that talk about different things, friendship, family and freedom, enjoy!

1. Piglet's Big Movie:
This movie is my favourite, after Tagled, and made Piglet and my role model, he was always my favourite male character. This movie shows us that the biggest bond of all is friendship, that even the smallest animals can di the biggest things,...

"Yeah, but how? They could be in any of our 11 movies." Snow White said.
"Exactly," Rapunzel said from under her hair.
"All th' more reason to go find'em." Merida said "C'mon, girls! Let's pack up for an adventure!"

10. Aurora
Merida just wouldn't understand why Aurora obeys authority and is respectful, instead of opposing everyone around her. She would find Aurora boring and too girly, always daydreaming about men in her dreams. Aurora is exactly the type of person Merida doesn't want to be. Aurora put her duty first before her own pleasures, and Merida wants to gain her freedom. She wouldn't see Aurora's actions in a positive light and will find her too inactive and passive.

9. Cinderella
Merida would misjudge Cinderella immediately as a doormat who has no backbone. She wouldn't get why she never stands...

Okay first of all can we all agree before I start this article that none of them would make Great Parents they all be okay parents? Good now here we go.

10: Pocahontas and John Smith

Like a lot of people said about this couple, they aren't ready to settle down and if they did they may fight over who's turn it is to take care of the baby. Don't worry those they had baby backpacks back then so they can go cliff diving.

Comments

I've been absent from Fanpop for a while due to the end of school, but I'm back! And I figured it was about time I wrote another article. So after wanting to watch it for YEARS, I finally got around to watching Hercules. I know it's not officially a DP movie, but I've heard it mentioned a lot on here and I wanted to share my opinion of it.

Overall Impression
Fun to watch! A bit cheesy as Disney movies go, but still a good story. It was an interesting take on the original legend, and though they changed a lot I found that I was still able to lose myself in Disney's version. I liked most of the...

1.Giselle

From Enchanted

Reasons For Liking:
Giselle always remained my favorite Disney princess. I just love how she believes in herself and follows her own path without letting anyone stop her. I love her for knowing that True Love and Happy Endings exist.

2.Cinderella

From Cinderella 1-2

Reasons For Liking:
Cinderella is one of the most prettiest Disney princess I ever set eyes on. She is a princess who is really kind to others and does not have a heart to deny good words. I liked her story she played on her movies.
