So I only wanted to include couples at the end of their original films so that is why there is no Pocahontas & Smith or Rolfe as well as no Anna & Hans.

10. Rapunzel & Eugene: I think this whole thing was such a big mistake. Eugene is a criminal on the run who just so happened to stumble upon Rapunzel's whereabouts who had been isolated. He was so selfish that he didn't even want to take her on this trip and was so cold that he actually took her to a bar full of criminals to scare her. In real life, this would have been immensely endangering for her. Luckily, she is so charming and sweet that she pulls off a musical amongst creepy criminals in a dingy tavern. Anything horrible could have happened at this point and he is the only non-villain to directly and purposefully but the princess in harm's way. What kind of BF/prince/husband/love of your life does that? Although they work together once to get away from their pursuers, she then goes on to rescue Eugene repeatedly throughout the film in various ways. I'm not really sure what he is good for other than a directional tour guide at this point. He is the first and only man she has ever met and not a very good one. The only redeeming thing he does is sacrificing himself to cut off Rapunzel's hair so she can't be held hostage by Mother Gothel anymore. I admit this was the best redeeming thing if he could only pick one. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to really make me think that they could live happily ever after though I truly hope so. Rapunzel was a serious catch and I don't find it the slightest bit surprising that he realized that and went back for her. She was absolutely going to be the best thing that he could ever have gotten but I don't think the true is the same in reverse.

9. Tiana & Naveen: Naveen starts off a total womanizing, lazy, spoiled and arrogant guy. After he accidently turns Tiana into a frog, he makes her do almost all of the work the rest of the film. He also is a wimp and cowers in her arms even though he is supposed to be a man. In addition to this, even as a frog he still likes attention from female insects. Finally, Mama Odie points out to him that she is the best woman he will ever be able to get so he better make it happen before he loses his chance. He does not come to this conclusion on his own. At this point, he is still selfish, lazy and he sees "wants" as being the same as "needs". He takes her out on one date and chokes on confessing his love and proposing to her when he has an opportune moment. This is because he is still a coward. Finally, Tiana saves him from the villain and they get married as frogs which transitions them back to humans. What a poor deal Tiana got. She was a great catch and she got stuck with Naveen because he was the only other human-turned-frog. After their marriage, she still goes on to continue her dream and successfully reaches it when she opens up "Tiana's Palace". Who knows what Naveen is doing by the end of the film because most likely he is still a lazy coward who will be reaping the benefits of Tiana's hard work and labor. I also think he's the type who would most likely cheat just because she was pretty and offered. I don't like this couple at all and I think Tiana deserved for Naveen to have a better reality check and a more apparent transition in character. This or Tiana deserved a real prince charming. She may not have been open to love for a long time but she was still young, beautiful and had strong morals and character. She deserved a man who was more equal to her.

8. Jasmine & Aladdin: I don't like this couple and I think this was a mistake. Aladdin was a con-man and grew up on the streets but it's because he was abandoned as a child. Beneath that he is actually very caring, loyal, protective, respectful and stands for those lesser than him. He is materialistic but I think it's mostly because he's never had anything. Jasmine is a shrew. She emasculates Aladdin and talks down to him when she is not happy. She doesn't know how to treat him right and I think this leaves Aladdin open to temptation with other women. Aladdin is very good to Jasmine and I just wish that she reciprocated better. He more than earned it from her.

Now the couples that I respect and range from really like to absolutely adore:

7. Mulan & Shang: This is probably the most unique love story of all time yet very organic and romantic in it's own right. Though far from traditional, this romance was very genuine. Mulan, posed as a man, seemed to be attracted to Shang from the very start. Unfortunately, Shang only knew Mulan as one of his soldiers to train and only thought of her in those terms. Since she was far behind the entire army, Shang did not respect Mulan and actually sent her away but she decided to prove herself and earn his respect instead. Respect is very important to men, especially in Chinese culture. Every time Mulan was earning Shang's respect, she was really earning something that could easily become his love when he finally realized she was a woman. Unfortunately, he didn't find out from her being honest but her slipping up. This humiliated him as he felt like a fool for falling for it. Luckily, she was able to regain his respect again but as a woman this time. Now that their balance was restored, their relationship could finally start to bloom. A beautiful romance story that was very fitting of Mulan's beautiful character story.

6. Snow & Prince Charming (Floridian?): The perfect symbolism for "romantic lovebirds". Although she is singing beautifully when he first meets her, she is literally dressed in rags and clogs. This doesn't phase him at all as he sees immediately through it to her genuine beauty that shows inside and out. She literally sends a bird (dove) to him as he serenates her. It is so romantic until the evil queen who is watching and jealous, decides to intervene. Since the Prince did not know where she disappeared to, he searched endlessly until he finally found her. When he finally did, he saved her from the spell of the evil queen with his kiss and they literally rode off into the sunset together to live happily ever after. It is such a sweet and romantic love story.

5. Aurora & Phillip: This very romantic relationship is perfectly executed like a "dream". I mean, it starts with a dream! She is walking along in the forest dreaming of love and he hears her voice and dreams of who it belongs to. They dance, go for a stroll and start to fall in love. He even goes home and insists to his father that this, the girl of his dreams, is who he will marry and not whatever betrothed princess his father has for him (not knowing they are one and the same). In order to save her life, he risks his own fighting an actual witch/dragon and wins! Not only does he awaken her with his kiss but he gets to be the one to reunite her with her family as well. They become the future and live happily ever after. It is a beautiful and dreamy romantic love story that is just a pleasure to watch. She is a classic perfect princess and he is a classic valiant knight-prince.

TIE: 3. Cinderella & Charming (Henry?): This couple highlights the best things about the best women, in my opinion. The prince had a plethora of women to choose from but he wanted a genuine woman and didn't want to settle. While at the ball, he spotted a genuine woman who was clearly not trying to social-climb with him. He asked her to dance and they danced all night followed by a beautiful walk in what is most likely his courtyard. He can tell that she is a beautiful, graceful, strong and feminine woman and he falls in love with her. When she abruptly leaves due to the magic spell ending and he doesn't get her identity, he refuses to give up until he finds her. When he finally does, he marries her and they live happily ever after. It is such a beautiful tale and such a positive lesson for women to hold true to their values and dream of love because the best men won't stop searching until they find their genuine and virtuous woman.

TIE: 3. Anna & Kristoff: This relationship is just so organic and so cute to watch! I think this couple shows the way that masculinity and femininity compliment each other. She is very feminine, not only in build but in her nurturing and optimistic personality. She's got a very spunky spirit and she wants to achieve things that are sometimes outside of her reach alone. Kristoff is a classic masculine loner guy. He is tall and broadly built as well as blunt, straight-forward and good with improvisation. He allows her to safely complete all of her little missions and activities that she normally wouldn't be able to accomplish alone. She gives him a rare human company that he normally rejects and dislikes. Together they are so cute and thoughtful of each other. They have perfect chemistry, they are very respectful of each other and they come off like they were just meant to be.

These next 2 couples always make me cry to this day. Their love is so powerful, so romantic and so beautifully shown that I can never get over it.

2. Ariel & Eric: This couple highlights the best things about the best men, in my opinion. Eric is a prince who does not want to just settle for any girl but with the perfect girl. He knows what he wants and he won't settle for less. This is so admirable because it means his marriage is more likely to be successful, genuine and long-lasting when he does finally find his love. We know he has plenty of options too because the workers doing the laundry say "If Eric's looking for a girl, I know a couple of highly available ones right here." Eric embodies a prince charming. He is picky but he is not vain or arrogant, he has a great sense of humor and good relationship with the people who work for him, he is not the stereotype of a lazy inheritor who expects everyone else to do things for him without his lifting a finger. In addition, he is strong, brave and loyal. Ariel sees all of this for herself when she watches him on the ship as he jokes and converses with his butler, talks about not wanting to settle, gets hands-on the ship when the storm hits and swims to rescue his dog Max. When Ariel saves him and sings to him until he wakes up, he sees and hears her and immediately falls in love knowing she's got to be "the one". He is so loyal, romantic and determined that he refuses to settle even with Ariel at first when he thinks she is not the same girl who saved him despite finding her to be very physically attractive. This also shows that he is not superficial when it comes to women. He is also a perfect gentlemen and even when he wants to kiss Ariel, he respects her too much and wants to know her name before he just kisses her. Finally, when he finally does learn that Ariel is the same girl who saved him, he refuses to let her go and is willing to give his life for this love. As he says in the film "I already lost her once. I'm not doing it again." when he goes after Ursula to save Ariel. In the end, he does save and protect his love by driving the ship into Ursula and killing her before she can kill Ariel. He's a great catch! She seems to really be in love with him as well as she saves him, gives up her voice and family for attempts to be with him and win his love back. She also must really love him and be a genuine person when she sees him announce his engagement to Ursula-disguised and doesn't try to ruin it out of jealousy. When she realizes that it is Ursula however, she refuses to let him be a pawn to her and she pursues rescuing him from her. She's also way too adorable being in love. They are the perfect vision of a happy couple in love.

1. Belle & Adam: This couple displays everything beautiful about real and true love in my eyes. First of all, we know Adam is "spoiled selfish and unkind". Yet when Belle arrives to save her father and offers to take his place, we see that despite these negative traits, Adam is a gentleman deep down. This is shown by offering Belle a room and not having her sleep in the dungeon. He really gives her a lot of freedom despite being his "captive" as he only makes one rule: Stay out of the West Wing. Unfortunately, Belle's curiosity brings her to disobey this one rule and disrespect the boundaries set. Adam understandably gets upset and in lashing out, scares Belle and she runs away. Even though Adam could have just forgotten about her and let her die in the forest, he found and rescued her from a pack of wolves. Further proving that there was a gentleman inside of him, he nearly gave his life to protect Belle. After getting rid of the wolves, Adam collapses and now it is Belle's turn to decide to leave him to die or save him and she chooses to save him by taking him back to the castle. This is really where their relationship started to grow. Adam was used to licking his own wounds but now Belle was there to help take care of him and this was something he was not used to. He lashed out at Belle but this time Belle stood her ground and he allowed her to tend to him. As a token of his appreciation (as well as falling in love), Adam gives Belle the grandest and most beautiful library that she could ever have dreamed of and she is very grateful to him for it. They have meals together and they both try to adapt to eating in a way that fits each other's styles. They spend time together, having fun and laughing, having snow fights and even curling up together by the fireplace to read together. It is so organic, so romantic and so inspiring the way they came together to meet each other's needs/wants. Finally they have an elegant date with dinner and dancing and Adam realizing he is in love, wants nothing more then to make Belle happy. Belle reveals that finding and taking care of her father will make her happy as she still has no idea if he is even alive at this point. This is the part where love is shown at it's finest. Adam is no longer "spoiled selfish and unkind" as he frees Belle because he loves her and wants her to be happy, even if it means he will never get to break the spell and die a beast. When Belle rescues her father, it is clear that she has fallen for Adam as well as she defends him to her father, Gaston and the townspeople. Distraught, depressed and feeling like he has nothing to live for anymore with Belle gone, Adam doesn't find it in himself to defend his life when Gaston attacks. It is when he sees that Belle came back for him that he has something worth living for, something worth fighting for and he fights off Gaston. In a horribly emotional scene, Belle actually sees Adam stabbed by Gaston in front of her very eyes and she can do nothing more than save him from falling to his death, though he is dying anyways. As Adam is dying in Belle's arms, he says "At least I got to see you one more time." which makes it worth it for him. After he dies, her verbal acknowledgement of her love for him partly breaks the spell and transforms him back to his human form where their kiss breaks the remainder of the spell for the other castle inhabitants. This is my favorite DP romance story because it is so representative of life and the joy that men and women in love bring to each other amongst other things. Belle softened Adam, made him a better person and a respectable member of society as well as giving him something to really live and fight for. This is symbolic of how women give men a reason to live and fight for as well as men in relationships tend to care more about their social environment and making it better (for their family) than they do when they are independent loners. Adam gave Belle what she could not give herself and made her very happy. She loved books and he gave her the grandest library; She loved adventure and travel which he could provide for her; She could not defend herself against those many wolves on her own but his masculine (and animal) nature allowed him to protect her. This was symbolic of how men protect and provide for women. This couple really emphasizes the balance and benefit of love and masculinity and femininity.
These are my guesses on the place where the princesses live. Since we aren't told where they live in many of them. I decided to write an article on what nationality I think they are. I guessed Cinderella and Ariel for the reasons stated below so I thought I would make an article out of it. P.S. Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan and Tiana are not on here because we already know where they are from.

Snow White: Personally, I think she is either German or Dutch. She is very fair skinned and has dark hair but that isn't my only back up. She wears clogs at the beginning which are traditionally Dutch...

“I can’t leave you.” She whispered.
“You never will,” he said. “No matter what happens, I’ll always be with you, forever.”
    “Forever?” she asked.
“Yes,” he answered. “Even through death.”
“Death,” she cried. “No! John, you can’t leave me, you just can’t!”
The darkness overcame her and his whisper disappeared.
“John!” She called for him, but there was no reply. “John! Where are you?! Please...

Since I have been here for a couple months now and have gotten to know everyone better, I thought I would write an article dedicated to my friends here on fanpop.

Sunnyson wanted to write this article with me because she has been wanting to write this article for a while now too and just wants to say thanks to these people.

Please don't be offended if your not named, we didn't intend to hurt peoples feelings we just wanted to acknowledge them for everything they do. If your not mentioned it's mainly because we don't know you that much yet, it's nothing personal.

Alright here they are:

Warning: Honestly this article is very harsh and long, and you shouldn't take anything I say personally, I'm a very blunt, honest person, and sometimes I feel people should have those standards too, I can't understand people who are too nice.

Not all my stress comes from fanpop. I have a lot of stress in real life too now, and I am a huge control freak, so I think I FINALLY reached my breaking point. Now I need to focus on my school work and not the stupid people around me in real life, and fanpop is a distraction as well.
I apologize for what I wrote, I know it's harsh but it's what I...

If you wonder why the heck do I have to make mention of every thing in my countdowns, well, I hate to left some thing just like that, so here it is:

24. Mulan's soldier tent
Of course that this one is the last. It was made by poor Mulan who just joined the army and wasn't totally herself. It is small, uncomfortable, it looks like it's going to ruin every moment. Oh, and it's right next to pond, so it probably stinks and there are mosquitoes too.

23. Pocahontas's longhouse
Someone told me that proper term is longhouse, I hope it is. So what to say, ordinary wooden house with one room,...

The sun rose up into the sky like a glimmering ray of hope. Many princesses react to a beautiful morning by skipping through the woods, picking flowers and berries, while singing a love song. Princess Pea was not one of those princesses.
"DAMN IT!" she screamed. "Morning already and I'm still in these stupid woods! I must be in freaking China by now." Finally, she saw a narrow path that ended outside the woods. She ran through it and saw a huge, grassy field. There were several white tents. It looked to be some sort of training camp.
Princess Pea walked over to one of the tents, it was tied...

Yeah, another article about the theme, but I want to tackle the issue from a somewhat different direction. Mostly the pairings are argued based on how long the pairs know each other (though I don’t really see why three days should be so much better than three hours), and similar details, but I think how well a pairing works is related to what the creator of a movie wanted to achieve. The argument “I don’t believe in love on first sight” is not really constructive if this is the kind of romance the movie makers wanted to create. So I have roughly put the movies in four categories.

I don't know if you guys will find this interesting or not but I found this off a website called partysupplieshut.com and I found it somewhat interesting and thought I would share.

Disney Princess claims its history as part of the Walt Disney franchise. This series based on prior line ups in Disney movies that have contained past Disney Princesses. Those such as Pocohontas, Mulan, Tiana and others come together in this group. There have also been a host of 'unofficial' princesses that have joined the ranks of Disney Princess. Those such as Alice from Alice in Wonderland, Tinker Bell from the...

Putting Princesses in Hogwarts houses sounded first a little bit silly to me – the concept is not even Disney, after all. But I discovered that thinking about in which house they fit best is a good method to explore their characters. This has been done before a couple of times, but I’ll do it a little bit different. First of all, I’ll include the princes too. And second, I won’t stick to just one house with most of them – I’ll declare them as “pure” (meaning no other house is a possibility), “influenced” (meaning a treat of another house is very dominant in them) or “torn”...

So on Tuesday there wasn't much, just a meeting on the apartment complexes and the rules. The complexes , by the way, are REALLY pretty, spacious and have a pool, tennis court, fitness center, and depending on the apartment complex you get, it has its own little resort.

The building on the left is a Chatham building, where I live. Those other 2 don't exist, it must be an old picture. All the buildings in Chatham look like the one on the left.

Today was the big day- Traditions. This is when they really drill into you the look of the park and how you're supposed to act. It's really long and...

This is why I LOVE Ariel and this is an article to protect her. I know some others done this a few months back, but this MY one. I will be doing the exact same with Merida, but why I prefer Ariel over her will be included. That will be posted soon.

First of all let's start with the most common argument against Ariel

Statement-Ariel is selfish

Now let see some definitions of words relating to the word selfish and the defintion of the word selfish.

Selfish-(of a person, action, or motive) lacking consideration for other people; concerned chiefly with one's own personal profit or pleasure.

Of all the things that are continually said about the princesses, this is the one that grates on me the most. Not only is it horribly untrue, but no one ever comes to Aurora's defense. Since I am tired and continually typing the same thing over and over again, I thought it would be more convenient to post my article like this and just link to it whenever I need to. Remember guys, it's okay to have your own opinions. Doesn't mean those opinions are always right though.

Let's start out by defining a Mary Sue.

Hey everyone, I know I have written one of these before, but I made it way too short and simple and I made it back when I first joined and since then so many new people joined so I wanted to make an improved one. I hope you guys like it!

Just graduated from high school last year. My birthday is on April fools day, which is pretty cool, but people didn't use that the right way
