Here's my list of Disney Princess couples, it's primarily based on what connected with me in their relationship and what i find admirable. I do have some ifs and buts with few couples but that's just my way of looking at how a relationship grow

1. Mulan and Shang:
Theirs a relation that I actually look up to with great admiration and respect. They both were mature to handle a relationship before falling for each other. Their love grew out of mutual trust, understanding and respect rather than romantic feelings. It is to not say that romantic feelings are not true or valuable, it's my personal opinion that while romance over the time diminishes and eventually trust, respect and understanding becomes the core of relationship, on which true love can be nurtured. I also love how they gain each other's trust and respect by their actions more than their words.
I love how they talk about their differences without hurting each other's feelings and how they can respect each other's opinions while upholding their own. I cannot help but simply put their relation on a pedestal of perfection.

2. Belle and Beast:
I really love the growth of their relationship. It truly shows how love brings out the best in them, makes them better people and also shows how without love, a person is actually only a beast. I love the gentle changes in Beast's personality from absolute mannerless, rude, selfish and mean to slowly warming up to how to care for someone, how to show affection, how to be polite and eventually how to be selfless. Belle also learns that some adventures in life are not about daring swords and charming prince but to find love and happiness in least expected place. She also learns to not be stubborn to not show her real feelings to someone else. I feel she was afraid to admit to her own feelings and only when she thought she has lost Beast, did she finally broke down to admit her feelings for him.
It tells me that for true love one must have the courage to be vulnerable, and that is why I love their growth.

3. Anna and Kristoff:
I don't understand why people find their relation forced or rushed. I think it's one of the most natural relationship that grew out of facing circumstances together and getting to know someone over course of time. I think, it was actually very sweet of them to find each other's opinion on love to be exact opposite. I also liked that they bump into each other at a public place, happened upon knowing each other;s requirement which Anna only seemed to help Kristoff with if he helped her in return. They were honest with each other, looked out for each other as companions to common goal. I loved how Kristoff was so genuine with rushing Anna to his friends when he saw her being hurt by Elsa. And they eventually realized that they had fallen for each other all this time, sharing their feelings and seeing each other in more vulnerable phases. That is how you stumble upon love, i guess sometimes, not really realizing until it starts to slip away.

4. Cinderella and Prince Charming:
I'm not a big fan of love at first sight and do not understand how they came to love each other just after spending only half a night with each other, with little to talk about themselves. But i love how their relationship is shown in the 3rd sequel. They have found deep love and respect for each other in marriage. Despite being torn apart, i loved how Prince Charming always felt that he somehow knew Cinderella, and how Cinderella whole-heartedly believed that despite the spell, his heart won't change and will recognize her again. I do believe that nothing can change true love; no spell, no materialistic greed. I find their relationship more strong and meaningful in 3rd sequel.

5. Rapunzel and Eugene:
It is one of the most complex relationship I have ever seen in a disney princess movie, but i like to believe in the good part of it rather than turning it into a completely horrible relationship, of Eugene taking advantage of Rapunzel. I think Rapunzel's goodness undid him. He would have never experienced that kind of trust and genuineness before. He would have been used to getting his food by cheat and manipulation and learned it as a way of life. I loved the change in him after they were trapped in the water tunnel, the way he was surprised when Rapunzel told him her story, of healing powers and never leaving the tower. I think it touched him to see that despite being locked up that way for all her life, she would not rebel straight away and would consider going back. I think it undid him seeing that kind of innocence and selflessness. I think that moment changed him in his heart, changed him to do something good in his life, for someone else's happiness. i find that incredibly moving to see how genuine affection and honesty and vulnerability can shed outer layers we often cover ourselves in the name of defense against cruel world.

6. Aurora and Philip:
Although I'm not a big fan of love at first sight, but I'm a strong believer in destiny and people who come together because they were meant to be. They had a beautiful time with each other, something as sweet and innocent as first unknown date. They simply wanted to meet each other more because they liked it. And when Philip kissed Aurora to wake her up, they simply realize they were just meant to be. I would have loved to see more of their relationship, to place them higher in my list.

7. Tiana and Naveen:
I could see why Naveen fell for Tiana for being smart and hard working, dedicated person she is, despite being so tough and uptight from outside most of times. But I didn't find his change of heart to be so powerful, he simply started liking her when she was being fun and let loose a bit at Mama Odie's place. I could say later he fell eventually for her righteous ways and morals and passion and knowing she could be fun too along with it. I'd want to believe that Tiana would have found that having a dream is great but being able to share it with someone is even more fulfilling but somehow i missed this chemistry on emotional front but i like the premise of their relationship, even though they were polar opposites of each other.

8. Jasmine and Aladdin:
I like how they discover each other, Aladdin rescuing her from a cruel vendor and sharing similar feelings of being trapped into a lifestyle that restricted them in different ways. They instantly connected with each other's way of thinking. This seemed like a great base for friendship rather than romantic love. I think the movie more focused on the adventure of Aladdin from there on than their relationship and failed to build it from there. I would have loved if they were to become friends and fought for each other's companionship in honest ways rather than both of them being dishonest with each other and hiding their true identity. I honestly didn't see why Aladdin fell for her, except for her beauty initially, and couldn't understand why Jasmine fell for him after the carpet ride. It could have been exciting but it truly failed in my eyes to deepen their infatuation/attraction into true love.

9. Ariel and Eric:
There were lot of things missing for me in their relationship. First of all, I didn't connect with Ariel's reason for falling for Eric. Despite gauging him from distance for a short while, i still find it hugely influenced by her fascination with human world that got her liking him rather than actually liking him for his personality/nature. I find it odd that she didn't interact with him at all if she liked him or thought she loved him but rather sought to go to his world with no voice in changed form to make him attracted towards her in disguise. I find it dishonest on her part, as she clearly had a choice of letting him know her. I enjoyed how they spent their time in town, however i find it a little forced on Eric. I mean he was dreaming about some girl with a beautiful voice and then he's kinda stuck with being nice to Ariel coz she seemed lost and need of help. For him, they were two different people. I really didn't like "Kiss the girl" sequence where he's being led into an awkward situation, he clearly do not want to kiss her like that without knowing her properly. It seemed as if she was trying so hard for Eric to fall in love with her.

10. Pocahontas and John:
This seemed like one of the most forced romantic relationship to me. They were simply fascinated with each other because of the huge cultural differences and were drawn to each other simply because they hadn't experienced each other's way of life. I couldn't understand and connect why they loved each other as a person. The movie shifted to completely different topic of peace between different kind of communities and their relationship seemed lost to me rather than developing further deep into each other in that war and peace situation.

11. Snow and Prince:
I completely failed to see why Prince was singing to a maid out of nowhere. And then fell in love with her just like that. And right at the end of the movie, he claims his love for her while she's presumably dead. This was really one of the most unfit romantic relationship with no foundation and it didn't sit well with the plotline at all.

Would love to hear from you all, as always.

I'm a bit reluctant to do this list because quite frankly no one gives a crap about the Princes. Plus this list is way too easy to write. I really don't enjoy talking about them. Let's just get on with it.
Are you on your period, dude?
Are you on your period, dude?

10.Charming
The most generic character in history. Of course this dude is at the bottom of the list. It would be weird to rank him any higher. He has little to no personality and when he does show some emotion, he comes off snarky and rude. He's also lazy if you ask me, he never makes an effort to go after or search for Cinderella. Seriously, what do all the...

Since I've changed my opinion on a quite a few places, I've decided to make a new list for my new order. :)

These are the princesses:
Snow White(1937), Cinderella(1950), Aurora(1959), Ariel(1989), Belle(1991), Jasmine(1992), Pocahontas(1995), Mulan(1998), Tiana(2009), and Rapunzel(2010).

10. Pocahontas
I really like Pocahontas, but somebody has to be at the bottom, right? I love her courage and I loved it when she jumped off the cliff. I also love her hair, black is so beautiful and how it moves with the wind is just breathtaking. The reason she's at the bottom is because I...

It was a beautiful morning in May, and Belle felt like getting out of the castle for a while. She decided to go to town and visit her Papa. She felt a bit guilty; being a newlywed, she hadn’t visited him very often, but that was all about to change. Walking through the quiet village felt very strange to Belle now. People looked at her differently. They respected her now…looked up to her even. Not too long ago she was considered the town freak. As she walked up the path to the house she grew up in, she heard a lot of commotion coming from the attic. “What is my...

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs:
Ah, the first Disney Classic. Now, I'll be honest. I'm not a gigantic fan of this film. I do like Snow White, she's simply adorable. However, this film is probably my least favorite DP one and probably only because it was the first of Disney's, meaning not as good animation as say, Aladdin. Anyway, my favorite scene for this movie has to be the first five or so minutes before the Forest Scene. It's short, but we get to understand the true meaning of how evil the Queen really is.

1. ARIEL

Ariel is a fun girl who goes for her dream. She has been my fave from age nine. Though age 3-5 was Cinderella, Ariel just reminds me of, well... me! She has red hair, my hair is almost red, (more of Anastasia's hair from the Anastasia Fox film) so me and Ariel are almost the same. I would love love LOVE to be her if they were going to make a remake. She has a great way of getting her man without a voice. When she fell her caught her and offered her to stay. She could even get her father to understand. Her floppy bangs are so ADORABLE. She is known to be the only disney princess (in...

One winter night,Rapunzel and Eugene had a baby.
They called her "April".
Well,at least she grew up to 6 years old with them.
But................the,EVIL Mother Gothel was still the same! She returned somehow. That night,April got kidnapped!(she was sleeping and did not noticed)
6 years kidnapped! 6+6=12 years old was April.
She always had a DAY DREAM about her parents.
She tried to runaway, but the evil Mother Gothel raised her the same way with Rapunzel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She told April that the world was dangerous with horrible selfish people. One day April said: "I had enough! I'm leaving." Mother Gothel got red in her face.(like a tomato)April said this with full of anger: "Get red as a tomato, because I don't care.I'm gonna live my life,'cause this is my life not yours.I'll return somehow back to my REAL family."
The next day, Ariel was in homeroom and some guy who was sitting next to blondie asked Ariel "Hey, is that your natural hair color?"
Ariel replied "Yeah."
"It's gorgeous." the guy replied back.
"This is Flynn or you can call him Eugene. We're dating at the mo." The blondie said.
"Hey Rapunzel, nice extensions. What's it made of?" said a dude who walked past Rapunzel.
She quickly said "Your mom's chest hair!!!" (Not really)
"I'm Rapunzel."
"Hi, I'm Ariel. Do you guys know where Room G is?"
Flynn took and looked at Ariel's agenda and said "Health Tuesday/Thursday Room G"
"I think it's in the back building."...

So a few months ago, I decided to write a short article on who my favorite princesses were. Well, that wasn't a complete list and my explanations weren't very clear so here we go again :)

10. Pocahontas
ok, so I don't really love her as much as I love the other princesses but I still like her. She's so brave and I admire her strength and courage. I loved her at the beginning of the movie. Before she met John Smith and became really boring...She was such a free spirit, running through the woods and paddling down that river and waterfall without a care in the world. She seemed like such a fun person!...

Here is my article about my favorite DP speaking voices in Swedish. Like I did with the singing voices I will post a link to each of them, but all of them will be to a song so I will tell you where you can listen to them because they are all pretty short. This was thougher than my singing voice list so sorry if I'm a bit biased here. I will also write the lines and their names in Swedish and don't forget to comment who has the best speaking voice, which line is the best and whose name is the prettiest because it seems like you missed it on my singing voice list.

10. Tiana (voiced by Pauline...

I like the "romantic" song, I love the "I want" song, I love the beginning and I love the funny scenes, but for me, the most enjoyable scene of a movie is its climax. A good movie has to chill me in its action scenes even if it's the 30th time I'm watching it. So here I wrote an article explaining what are my 10 favorite final action scenes from DP movies. I might make a countdown about that (with the public's opinion) in the future, but at the moment, I'd like to share my opinion with you.

10. The Princess and the Frog
This action scene has an interesting setting - New Orlean's cemetery...

The Disney Princesses are characters that are currently featured in the Disney Princess franchise. The franchise is now comprised of ten female protagonists from ten different Walt Disney animated films who are either royal by birth, royal by marriage, or considered a "princess" due to their significant portrayal of heroinism in their film.

The character lineup has varied since the creation of the franchise; Princesses Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Fa Mulan and Tiana have most consistently been included. A new addition, Princess Rapunzel, made her debut in...

Aladdin

Perfect timing, Abu. As usual.
[After learning that Genie will grant him three wishes; to Abu] Now I know I'm dreaming.

Iago

Look at this! I'm so ticked off I'm molting!

Genie

[After Jafar has become a Genie] Al, you little genius, you!
Jafar, Jafar, he's our man, if he can't do it: GREAT!

Hi guys, this third time I'm writing to you and I'm not sure whether this has already been written, and I thought that I would like to voice out my opinions about the princess ending in their movies.

10) Snow White
I felt that the ending was to short and we could have seen more about Snow White's wedding. Also, the prince should get to more about Snow White.

9) Tiana
Despite watching the movie ages ago, I am still able to recall how it ends. The ending was really amazing despite that I have to put it to number 9! But even that, I still love it.

8) Princess Jasmine
The ending should had been Jasmine's...

Melody shut her eyes tight as she held her ball in her face, preparing for the car to crash into her. But the car's aim never came. Melody felt herself being swept off her feet by a pair of slender and soft arms. Somebody saved her! When she was gently dropped onto the sidewalk on her feet, her eyes opened. Melody found herself face to face with a young woman who bended her knees to meet Melody's level. She is a petite woman with long red hair and baby blue eyes. The young woman was also, wearing a purple tank top and a green skirt with matching shoes.

Melody's Nanny Chapter 2

Normally, Eric would be in his office, working on countless papers for his boss. But last night, after he put the nanny advertisement on the newspaper, he had requested a day off on Saturday from his boss thus he could find a nanny for Melody. His boss agreed and hoped to have him back at work soon.
Now Saturday came and everybody read Eric's advertisement. Many nanny candidates showed up at Eric's house. The Interviews took place in the living room. While Eric was sure to hire a nanny, Melody was not thrilled.

I don't know why Daddy is doing this! I don't want a nanny!...

Chapter 1

"Melody, wake up," said Eric as he patted his five-year-old daughter on the arm.

"Five more minutes, Daddy," Melody yawned.

"But Melody today is your first day at your new school. If you don't get up, you'll be late," Eric responded.

"I don't want to go to school today!" said Melody.

"Melody, get out of bed right now or I'll spank you," Eric firmly stated.

Melody's eyes went wide and quickly got out of bed. Eric left while she got dressed. She took her pink pajamas off and tossed them on her bed. Then, Melody slowly put her on her outfit on. She dressed slowly since she did not want to...

Finally here it is my long overdue article. Movies wouldn´t be the same without music, and DP movies are not the exception. A couple of months ago I made some picks in order to find out fanpop users´ favorite song from each Disney Princess movie. I must say some of the results were surprising and not everybody agreed on them, but those were the results of the picks. Most likely opinions may have changed by now, but I decided to write the article nevertheless. I´m not going to write much about each song, just some information about them. The lovely images that appear in the article were also...

Pocahontas slowly made her way to John. When she finally reached his side, he put his arms around her and gave her a hug. She sighed because for once, in a long time she liked hugging John, only because her imagination let her think it was John Smith.
“I can see that you’re worrying about something.” John finally spoke.
    “That is true.” Pocahontas agreed.
“Let’s go for a walk.” John said.
He wanted to get away. Maybe if they were alone,...

"Who are you?" said Phillip, starting to emerge from the tub.
I gasped and scrambled onto my feet. I was too chicken to talk to him, so I ran out of the bathroom.
But I'm not a lucky girl. I slipped on water, and slammed hard on the linoleum floor.
Damn it, I muttered, standing again. Phillip was in his robe now.
I couldn't take any chances. I ran out of the bathroom, back in the hallway again. My only options were the staircase that had a sign that read "Dungeon", and a shiny armor.
I picked the armor. I stuffed the camera in my pocket and climbed in, making sure the helmet closed tightly...
