The results are in! So which is the prettiest town among all? I recently conducted a poll to figure which towns are seen as the prettiest towns from DP movies by fans, and here's what the Disney Princess fans have to say about each and how they have ranked it.
Special thanks to tiffany88, who has generously contributed not only with her comments but also with phenomenal collages to help the fans choose better! Thank you so much for your generous help! <3

8. New Orleans from Princess and The Frog:
Mostly people said that they didn't get the right feel from this town, especially the real New Orleans and that seemed to have a rub-off on the choice as well. However few people felt it was better than the rest because at least we got to see the town, whereas in many movies we hardly have seen glimpses of town.

wavesurf: " It just doesn't look attractive. I mean, I saw lots of pictures of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina brought that town lots of media attention. But I don't like the look of it at all. "

laylastepford: "Not a fan of New Orleans at all."

AudreyFreak: "while the Nawlins in Disneyverse looks nice, I dislike the town itself irl."

tiffany88: "What happened with New Orleans???? New Orleans is by far better than Mulan's town or Cinderella's or Arendelle's town....
What a shame, it's a beautiful city! And we actually saw a big part of it."

anukriti2409: "so agree with you (tiffanny88), can't believe it's gone so early"

7. Town from Mulan:
Fans felt it was just plain old town and didn't have any beauty element or magical feel to it. Maybe the town didn't offer any different vistas and looked similar in all shots. Some also felt that while Mulan's residence is far prettier than the town it is in.

tiffany88: "Too simple and plain, Mulan's family home looks way better than the town. It's just strange o.O"

anukriti2409: "i find this not as beautiful as I thought, while Mulan's residence is far more beautiful. It looks entirely too busy like a market place and no touch of beautiful cherry blossom in the town."

AudreyFreak: "Mulan's village is pretty but kind of plain"

6. Town from Cinderella:
Consent was that the town in Cinderella was too generic, boring and gave off a cold feeling. We didn;t get to see much of it anyways, so it was quite low on the choice. Interesting thing here is that despite people felt it was generic and not shown in details, it still was a preference over New Orleans and Mulan's Town.

NCISLuverjk93: "Boring, generic."

dancing_dear: "cold and we don't see much happening here."

anukriti2409: "It is very generic, it has nice cobbled streets though but i can't much picture this town. Looks kind of cold to me, somehow"

tiffany88: "^agree (with anukriti2409)"

5. Agrabah's Town from Aladdin:
Here many fans doubted the safety, climate and cleanliness of the town. The town didn't make them comfortable to be a peaceful town and even though it looked beautiful from surface, there were issues with the kind of lifestyle it nurtured - a bit conservative and hostile.

made by me, inspired from collage by tiffany88

laylastepford: "I pick Agrabah because of multiple reasons. It's the desert with extremely hot temperatures, it is politically very strict with limited freedoms and extreme punishments (i.e. the guy who was going to cut off Jasmine's arm for stealing) and I'm not a fan of the cast system. Aladdin was stuck in his lifestyle because of who he was born to which was held against him despite no choice in the matter."

lililc: "it doesnt seem really a peaceful place to live"

Diamela: "i like the others better"

anukriti2409: "It's gorgeously animated, but i wouldn't want to live in such over-the-top hot climate with too much sand around, can't even imaging desert storms."

NCISLuverjk93: "^ i wouldn't want to live here"

AudreyFreak: "this (Agrabah's town) or Corona. but at least Corona seems cleaner and safer (than Agrabah's town)."

The HOT DEABTE happened between the town in TLM and Arendelle Town, which were tied in initial poll. In the tie-breaker, Arendelle won over fan's hearts. Fans preferred serene and tranquil environment of Arendelle over the cheerful pretty town in TLM.
Here are some glimpses of the hot debate of Arendelle vs. Town in TLM:

wavesurf: "I don't exactly see "bustle" happening in Arendelle. I see a "blank space" with water, a few isolated "stalls" selling flowers, and long walkways that end up as piers for boats. The houses look almost like a repeat from the first scenes shown in "Pocahontas" in England. There's a fountain in the town center... and that's it. There are no cobbled walkways, no bustling marketplace, no outdoor plays being conducted. There are no dancing couples or strolling couples. At the most, Arendelle reminds me of a wharf town with weird-looking concrete. I just think it looks boring overall as there is very little "activity" going on. There's nothing to lend me the "feel" of a town. It's quite isolated-looking. There's just water, boats, mountain, and sky ( which aren't even rendered as rustically or as finely detailed as they were in Brave. The water in Brave looked way more like actual water does).

I also liked the 2D sea foam ocean hues that would change from dark navy to green and even turquoise in The Little Mermaid ( which made me think of swirling water). The repetitive royal blue hue just stayed everywhere in Frozen--- from the ocean, to the sky, to the snow, and the ice as well. Everything had that same royal blue hue. It got a little inundating"

tiffany88: "Ariel's town is very charming and cozy while Arendelle is a little bit too cold and poorly animated. Even the town in Tangled looks better."

pureheroine: "I like both but I prefer Arendelle."

Robin_love: "While I like the town(in TLM), Arendelle just had so much landscape and the views are amazing."

laylastepford: " you may see Arendelle as being nothing but "cold" but many people on Earth agree that the backdrops of Norway are breathtaking, stunning and gorgeous. You might see "ocean" and "beach" as beautiful but others might see "forest" or "mountains" as much more beautiful. I personally see Arendelle as being much more beautiful than Eric's town because as anukriti2409 mentioned, it offers both: the beauty of water and the beauty of land. "

anukriti2409: "Arendelle offers serenity and tranquility, i simply love the backdrop of lush green mountains and calm blue waters all around. I'm kïnd of surprised that people are choosing Arendelle. Norway's landscape beauty is beyond beautiful."

4. Town from The Little Mermaid:
People appreciated the beautiful location near the sea, the hustle-bustle in the town with people indulging in various activities and the infectious cheerfulness of the town but eventually felt other were simply prettier than this.

Anii147: "They all look nice, but the setting in The Little Mermaid does not seen as developed; story-wise, or animation-wise. A setting needs to be investible."

sparklefairy375: "The others are better than this town."

laylastepford: "I think the town in the little mermaid is really quaint looking with a couple of neat things like the waterfall and fountain which are nice touches. However I think the town of Arendelle is more beautiful. I love the colors and shapes used in the architecture better. I also absolutely adore the dreamy backdrop of mountain on one side and ocean on the other which is like the best worlds of summer and winter coming together. :D Both towns seem really safe and pleasant with a respectable and balanced community feel to me, though."

3. Arendelle Town from Frozen:
The fans who loved Arendelle found the beauty of lush mountains and gorgeous sea to be alluring and captivating. Fans also associated the animated beauty of the town with actual landscapes of Norway, the inspiration behind Arendelle. What worked in favour of Arendelle was its unique combination of mountains and sea.
However, many felt it was poorly animated and was rather too cold and too empty with people only indulging in very little activities. It didn't have the bright and cheery note to it and simply lacked the feeling of liveliness that a town should offer.

tiffany88: "Arendelle is a little bit too cold and poorly animated. Still not a fan of it."

3xZ: "not a fan of Arendelle"

ntmfan0707: "agree with wavesurf"

AudreyBrooke: "Too overly geometric for me."

2. Provincial Town from Beauty and The Beast:
The major problem with the town was that fans felt that people were not so nice in this town, they were judgemental. People liked the Autumn setting and somewhat was better in terms of liveliness but it lacked on the optimism and warm feeling from people.
However, fans of provincial town in BATB gave it a tough fight for gaining no. 1 spot and was originally tied with Corona's town in Tangled. They loved the Autumn's backdrop to BATB town, found that it has a nice balance between activities in the town and some space to stroll around as well.

collage credit to tiffany88
collage credit to tiffany88

dancing_dear: "seems like a very masoginistic and judgey place"

wavesurf: "Belle is right. The town where she resides is boring. The book shop is horrendously tiny. There isn't much excitement except for Gaston's tavern, and...I'd definitely avoid that place. I liked the sights around Prince Eric's town far better: plays, dancing, open market, meadows and quiet paths, and a beautiful lagoon for boat rides... Yeah. I'm kind of puzzled as to why Prince Eric's town got eliminated so quickly in favor of cold Arendelle where people only sell flowers and fold up rigging in ships."

tiffany88: " Thought I really like Belle's town, the Autumn season looks divine in it, but maybe a little bit old and colorless. "

sparklefairy375: "The landscapes of BATB's and Arendelle's town are obviously awesome (Can't stand with peoples who dislike the Arendelle's one). I just found the Corona's town is less beautiful than the other two. "

laylastepford: "Agreed with Sparklefairy375. All of these towns are so similar but the backdrops of Belle's provincial town and Arendelle are stunning and gorgeous, which Corona just doesn't have. I LOVE the backdrop of Belle's town. I think the mountains and the river between are super gorgeous! I also love the forest and waterfalls shown in the beginning just outside of the town. I love the balance that her town has between preserving wide open nature but also having a town (not mega city) with people. I love the architecture in Belle's town a lot more than Corona as well as the colors. I also love the little fountain in the center of Belle's town as well as the friendly nature of the townspeople. (They might not get along with Belle since she is progressive for her time but many of the townspeople attempt to speak to her and look past that. They just don't have much in common.)"

AudreyFreak: "^agree (with laylastepford) "

anukriti2409: "I prefer the autumn setting in provincial town in BATB, it is so breath-taking with many town activities, a quiet fountain in the town centre, a lovely bookshop, bakeries and hawkers selling vegies. I'd want to to settle down here"

And Corona won the countdown hands down with 70% votes in the tie-breaker. Here's what Corona's town lovers have to say about it.

1. Corona's Town from Tangled:
From all the towns, fans preferred the combination of beautiful location of Corona island with its charming town centre where people were warm and friendly, there was festive spirit in the air, warm and cute houses and shops with such high activity.
However, few felt that it was too tightly packed and lacked space.

wavesurf: "Well, I did end up liking the inside of the store where Eugene and Rapunzel curled up and read books together, I liked the cupcakes, and I liked the town square where Kingdom Dance took place with the Rapunzel and her mom and dad mosaic. Gosh, I loved that mosaic. <3 "

tiffany88: "I really like the colors and the shapes in Rapunzel's town. The lovely streets, the bricks and the shape of the buildings looks "adorable" too."

Diamela: "I love corona!!!"

MaidofOrleans: "Corona looks so sweet and fun! There is so much to do and the people are very nice."

Mongoose09: "Corona is MUCH nicer"

Themusicalmolls: "I LOVE Corona. It's such a pretty town."

ntmfan0707: "As much as I LOVE BATB, Corona seems a lot nicer."

GirlySpunk: "Though both are pretty , Corona is prettier and it seems so fun and nice <3"

How BATB fans defended the position but eventually lost to Corona's Pretty Town:

laylastepford: "Corona's town is too packed and too highly populated on an isolated island. Not a good combination, especially in the case of war or a disaster. Corona would realistically have to immediately submit to whoever wanted to take over. Also, I think the officials of Corona are very dim-witted since they couldn't find Rapunzel over that whole time yet they didn't believe that she ever left the island. Lame."

Sparklefairy375: "Seriously I don't get it why most peoples who commented on this poll, dislike the BATB town because seems bored.
The question is "The Prettiest Town in DP movies", so we choose the one that is less prettier (in landscapes, architecture of houses, etc). If the question is"The Most Interesting Town in DP Movies", or "The Best Town in DP Movies" yes you can commented BATB town is boring or whatever."

So, do you find the results to be surprising or were you expecting the same? Which of the rankings you completely disagree with? Please share your views on post poll results. Thank you everyone for participating in the polls, especially those who left comments to make the article more interesting to read and collate the results better. And a special thanks to tiffany88!
Would love to hear from you all, as always!

This is my ranking of the princess films. These are my personal opinions. It is okay if you don't agree with my list but please no rude comments.

12. Brave

I hate this movie. I haven't seen it in 3 years and I don't want to see it again. I think Disney as dimitri put it, was trying to hard to please radical feminists that hate Disney princesses. Merida is so rude bratty and obnoxious I just want to punch her in the face. Moving on.

11. Frozen

Another Disney movie I can't stand. Like with Brave, I think Disney was trying to hard to be progressive. The characters are extremely annoying and the soundtrack...

As everyone walked into the cool night air, Mulan found the strength to talk about her heartbreaking experience. "We told our friends and family. We didn't want to tell anybody else." she said. "We should've said something to you guys alot sooner." Shang replied. "You waited until the time was right." Pocahontas consoled. "I'm glad we took the tots with us. They've made this walk even more enjoyable." John added. Mace and Ping were amazed at the nature all around them. Their faces lit up as they saw trees ans riverbends.

As the gang got near the infamous cliff Pocahontas loved going to, Mulan,...

Now that I am done with school I can finally write my ranking of the Disney Princesses. These are just my personal opinions. It is ok if you disagree with my list but please no rude comments.

13. Merida

I really can't stand Merida. I haven't been Brave in 3 years but I don't want to see it again. I think she is rude, bratty, & obnoxious. Moving on.

12. Elsa

I'm not an Elsa fan. I don't find her very likeable. She just irritates me. I don't really know what else to say.

11. Anna

I like her better than Else no doubt but she doesn't do much for me. I hated the line she when she said she is gassy....

Last time I wrote about songs that I thought suited Mulan, today I'll write about songs that I think suits Pocahontas, hope you'll like this article :)

link - Bon Jovi
Totally suits her, she does crazy things in the movie and the people in her movie judge her because of that

link - Justin Timberlake
This song describes Pocahontas' and John Smith's relationship perfectly well (even though the song is quite long)

link - Katy Perry
Like the previous song it describes Pocahontas' and John Smith's relationship quite well, not as great as the previous one, but still it sort of suits

link - Michael Jackson...

Once upon a time, all of the Disney Princesses came to visit Dee Dee in Malaysia and do their usual stuffs. All of the princesses decide to do shopping, and they all agree. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door.
Dee Dee opens the door, and to her amazement, there was a young girl dressing up in Cinderella's rag dress! "Who are you?" asked Dee Dee said astonishingly, the young girl replies "My name is Ella, may I come in?", Dee Dee lets her in, looking skeptical about her.
Then, Ella hears Cinderella's voice coming in their direction, and gestures Dee Dee to hide with her. "Hello my animated...

I guess most of you must have heard by now the news about the Frozen sequel. I'm pretty excited about it, but I do hope they have a good plot for it and don't just do it for the sake of selling more merchandise or finding Elsa a prince too (not that I'm against Elsa having a prince, but I don't think it is absolutely necessary for the story, she can also be happy and rule the kindgdom without one).

Anyway I have an idea for the sequel's plot and I'd like to share it with you guys.

If there is to be a sequel, I think this is a good opportunity to explore the origin of Elsa's powers. I think the...
