Disney Princesses Wallpaper

You'll notice that characters created around the same time as each other tend to share traits that are popular at the time or big with the artist/director/etc who works with them.

However, I'm not here to talk about personalities. Those have already been covered by many interesting authors who explore the topics far more effectively than I could. What I want to talk about is common overarching themes I have noticed in each generation of princesses.

Classic Princesses

A common theme with the first three Disney princesses (Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora) I think is maintaining hope and optimism...

Well, as promised, here my thoughts. Careful, though, I intend to go into great detail about the movie. If you haven’t watched it yet, I suggest to leave, or this will ruin the experience for you. I also warn you if you love the movie. For me, it was very much a mixed bag, and I will mostly try to figure out why I wasn’t as enchanted as I was and still am of my favourite Disney Princess Movies.

1. The Animation

Hi everyone! This article was an idea I had to showcase some of the current Disney Princess fans. Obviously there are many other fans in this club, but it is impossible to include everyone for various reasons, even though that would be ideal. Each person involved is listed according to their favourite princess, and there is a short summary of that person so we can all get to know each other better. Hey guys! For this article I'm going to go through all the DPs in order and say which of their hairstyles is my favorite. Anna and Elsa will be in this list, but unless you think of the length of a braid as a spoiler there probably won't be spoilers. And this is all original movie, no sequels! With all that said, let's start with the list:



Snow White's Red Bow Hairstyle
Snow White only has two hairstyles, this one and the same hair with a blue bow, but I think the bright red color is a good contrast to her hair, and it brings out the red in her lips.

As many of you know, I have been conducting a countdown of the most popular love's first kiss scenes. It's been a lot of fun and I'm glad so many people participated! I must say, though, that I find it hilarious that each poll had about 40 participants and less than half of them commented. I mean it even says in the title that your vote won't count unless you leave a comment! It doesn't particularly bother me, I have plenty of quotes as it is, I just find it funny. :P On to the results...

10. The Prince
I don't see him giving any wedgies at all. If anything, I think he'd be the one receiving them from everyone else.

9. Prince Charming
Just like with the Prince, I don't see Charming giving any wedgies. He might give the occasional wedgie, but only to the Prince.

8. Prince Phillip
This guy would give so many wedgies to the other two classic princes that it's not funny.

7. Shang
He doesn't always give wedgies, but when he does, you better believe that it'll being excruciatingly painful.

6. Adam/Beast

I thought that since Merida has joined that I should talk about the most heroic Disney Princesses. I'll be judging their actions based off not only the original movies but in the sequels and TV series'. Keep in mind that this is just my opinion and that just because like per say I think they're a damsel in distress and not that heroic doesn't mean that I hate them. Okay I don't like her but I don't hate her and this is kind of part of why I don't like her. First of all her dream is basically to be a damsel in distress, be saved by her true...

People say that Ariel never learned a lesson in The Little Mermaid and that she never really was sorry for what she did. I kind of agreed with this until I watched The Little Mermaid last night, and I realized that she does actually learn a lesson.

When people like to defend Ariel, they tend to point to this line:
Daddy, I'm sorry! I - I - I didn't mean to. I didn't know –
However, those who say Ariel doesn’t learn anything say it is only one moment, and that she was really just sorry she got caught.


However, no one pays attention to the scene after...

16. The Vultures

I was expecting them to leave a few rounds later, but there's not doubt about why they left at this point, most users said that they where creepy.

I've seen many of these articles on here, not many of them are that recent though. Hardly any include the CGI princesses or Tiana in extreme cases. Not offence intended
So I decided to do a slightly more up to date countdown. Hope you enjoy it! :)
