Disney Princess Let me rephrase: would you like to see more princess movies where the "princess" in question doesn't have or find a love interest?

I feel like people misunderstood the last poll since I kept seeing answers that said words to the effect of they would like if other characters had romance (like side characters or married parents) even if not the protagonist.

To clear things up, when I say a "princess movie without romance," I mean a princess movie where the princess in question doesn't find romance by the end.

I like both, but I wish princesses didn't find love so easy or quickly.

It's just a staple of the DP films for me.

I can't stand it when people look down on love in Disney movies, I personally see nothing annoying about true love, but if they do want a DP who doesn't find love, I wouldn't mind an interesting adventure story.

I want a story where a girl and a boy are best friends! Some of my best friends are guys and it would be nice to see that you can have men in your life that aren't a love interest.

I just want a film where romance isn't seen as everything, is that too much to ask? Boys films (or what are generally considered to appeal to boys) never seem to focus on romance, and even if they do it's usually just a random hot chick who is a prize to be won.

as long as they don't try to shove it in my face on how revolutionary it is. like merida they make a big freaking deal about it but she didn't say she didn't want to marry at all, she doesn't want to marry now to a stranger. the focus should of been (when people saw it rxn) look at the mom/daughter relationship but went like NO MEN! NO MEN! LOOK HOW ANTI-MARRIAGE SHE IS! STRONG INDEPENDENT WOMAN!!

I'm not against the princess falling in love, I actually find that great and romantic but I'm also not against a movie where the princess doesn't find love.

I couldn't give less of a shit
what matters to me is a like-able sympathetic character with a good story and...well solid.

It doesn't have to be a girl and it doesn't have to be a fairytale

I am a romantic but my 4 favorite Disney movies don't revolve around love for some reason. I guess it doesn't matter to me, as long as its done right.
