As ppgbelle4 suggested, here it is! My list for my 5 least favorite Disney males. It took a little bit to think up, especially since I love several Disney heroes. So this was a pain. But I did my best...so let's go!

Flynn Rider (Tangled)

Yeah, I don't like this guy. He brought nothing new to the table. I mean, he was sort of funny at first, I'll give you that. But when I start disliking him immensely is when he is on the boat with Rapunzel. I mean...what? His personality changes radically. And I didn't like that. What happened to his sarcastic personality? It's not there anymore. He goes through an unrealistic change, and that just annoys me so badly. Whenever he appears onscreen I just groan, because he's that unrealistic. They didn't do his character well, and like I said before, he brings NOTHING new to the table. Absolutely nothing. It's like they were trying to redo the older princes.

Prince Naveen (The Princess and the Frog)

Oh ho ho. I hate this guy. He's too cocky for my tastes, and yeah yeah, I know he changed. BUT...the way he acted in the first place makes it something I can't get over. He treats Lawrence like dirt, he's rude to Tiana, and he's so freaking spoiled it gets on my nerves. Then he acts like a little brat after he finds out Tiana isn't a princess. "I made that promise to a beautiful princess, not a cranky waitress." Seriously? What a bratty way to respond to Tiana. He was never charming to me. I don't like cocky guys, they annoy me. Tiana was correct calling him a spoiled little rich boy.

Aladdin (...Aladdin)

Yeah, well, I don't like him. I know a lot of people do, but here's my problem with him: He's a liar. And I detest liars. He lies to Jasmine about who he is, and when she figures it out, he covers it up with ANOTHER lie. I mean, really? He should've just fessed up and told her the truth. Lying to her again just made it worse. And this line right here, LOL: "If Jasmine found out I'm this...street rat...she'd laugh at me." (It might not be word for word, lol.) This line proves to me that he thinks Jasmine is selfish or something, that she is only interested in wealthy men and wouldn't love him for who he is. I feel like he only cares about her looks and wealth, and that bothers me a lot. Then, we move on to the sequels...granted, he annoyed me in the first movie, but he hasn't seemed to have learned his lessons in the sequels either! He lies to her AGAIN in both, and it makes me SO annoyed. And I didn't like the way he treated Sadira in the TV series. Acting like people can't change...moving on.

Peter Pan (...Peter Pan)

(Pictures KataraLover singing "Hallelujah") Anyway, yeah, can't stand him. I know he's still a kid and everything, but some of the things he does...*Sighs* Yeah. He's super insensitive and doesn't care about Wendy's feelings at all. Despite me not liking Wendy, I felt bad for her because of the way Peter treated her. Especially at the scene with the mermaids. He laughed when the mermaids were trying to drown her. I mean, wow...just....wow. "They were just having a little fun! Weren't ya, girls?" "That's all..." "We were only trying to drown her." "Ya see?" -_- Wendy should've gotten the chance to throw the seashell at the mermaids. I'm just saying. And: "She says you're a BIG UGLY GIRL! *Laughs*" Ok, I admit, that was sort of funny, but it was still mean. And "Girls talk to much." He needs to watch his mouth before he speaks, though he is still a kid. lol Just the fact that he's mean to Wendy most of the movie astounds me. Oh, and let's not forget he likes the gloat. I don't care if he's a kid, I hate the traits he has. I do like him in the sequel, if that makes up for it a little bit.

Scamp (Lady and the Tramp II)

YES I'M INCLUDING SEQUELS HERE. Because I hate the little brat and I'm running out of leading men (or boys, or male animals...) that I hate. Ok...wow, Scamp irritates me. (Hides in fort from KataraLover) He isn't very grateful for what he has, and while I can understand that he wants to explore, he makes the stupidest choices. He runs away all happy, and leaves his family behind. I sympathize with Angel, not with Scamp. Angel wanted a family, people to love on her. And I understand that. But Scamp wanting to go out and be cocky and do whatever he wants because he hates rules? LOL NO. And he still tries to act like it's not his fault when he sees his family upset over him running away. I mean, seriously? He doesn't wake up until he's being taken to the pound. And he promised Angel he wouldn't tell the other Junkyard dogs that she wanted to have a family, and what does he do? "She's the one that wants to be a house dog, not me!" Sure, he was upset at the moment, but did he have to put Angel on the spot like that? Not cool, not cool at all.
"...It's in that pot, isn't it?"
"...It's in that pot, isn't it?"
"Just one...unless you beg for more."
"Just one...unless you beg for more."
"Do you trust me?"
"Do you trust me?"
"Wanna hear about the time I cut off Hook's hand and threw it to the crocodile?"
"Wanna hear about the time I cut off Hook's hand and threw it to the crocodile?"
"You can keep your motto! But not this. I'm going home, where I belong."

Yes, I know, I said that I would stick to book-based Disney movies and the Arthur saga is technically a legend. Practically though, this movie is not based on the legend, but on a specific book based on said legend with the title “The Sword in Stone”. So I guess I’ll have to take a look how the book relates to the legend, and how the movie relates to the book.

1. The Sword in the Stone

This is one of the books I read just for this article series. And I have to say, it surprised me, mostly because I read some reviews in the past which complained that the movie is nothing like the book at...
