'Nightmare in Silver' NEWS: The renovated Cybermen originate from an alternative universe and are purportedly the ones who departed from previous episodes. Additionally, despite their voices being 'scary', they do not have a tendency of speaking much...hmmm...enigmatic. :D Do you all think this episode is anticipated to too great an extent, or rightly anticipated? :D Xx Posted over a year ago

Everyone says that the Cybermen are scary. I don't think they're anywhere near as creepy as the Daleks, the Weeping Angels, or the Silence. over a year ago

Oh, yes! :D I agree with you on that one- especially the latter adversary mentioned. :D Xx over a year ago

I don't really think the Silence is really that scary…just saying but once you've forgotten about the Silence, you can't be afraid of them. Besides, we all know the Vashta Nerada is scarier than the Silence. We would all agree on that one…right? over a year ago

Well, he made a re-emergence in 'The Bells of St John', however, I personally am unsure about whether he shall replicate this in future episodes. :D Xx over a year ago

Can someone tell me the connection between the ice warrior and the Doctor, have they met before, what happened ? Posted over a year ago
no1drwhofan commented…
They firat encountered one another in the episode, 'The Ice Warriors', starring Patrick Ttoughton as the second Doctor. Basically, the episode was situated in the far future at Brittanicus Base. The TARDIS arrives outside the base and the Doctor, Jamie and Victoria find the base and the former character decides to help the base's crew with an Ioniser. Then, the Ice Warriors come along, resulting in Jamie being unconscious and they then take Victoria hostage. Furthermore, one of them informs Victoria that its name is Varga. Blah blah blah. Towards the end, the Doctor and Victoria adapt a Martian sonic cannon, such that it harms only Ice Warriors.... over a year ago

The Martian Craft then begins to develop but does not get too far before the Ioniser destroys it. The Doc's job is done and he, Victoria and Jamie depart in the TARDIS. :D over a year ago

Great episode, overall. Initially, I found it a little dull, however, I believe later on, it did better fortify itself, hence compensating my previous sentiments about it. :) Lamentably, I do not know about all of you, however, I did not like how the Doctor reacted upon the instant of coming face-to-face with the Ice Warrior; I was expecting anguish, rage, upset. Nevertheless, he started laughing, which I thought was odd...
But I reiterate it was a wonderful episode. :) Posted over a year ago

Oh, and did anyone else establish a connection between the Doctor's Barbie doll and Rose? :D over a year ago

I think the doll was one of his kids or grandkids possible a companion. Did you notice the Bad Wolf referince X3 over a year ago

For the doll, I can see it look like Rose but where is the bad wolf reference? is it the song the professor sang? over a year ago

An apparent, as well as thought-provoking, hint as to Clara Oswald's identity, according to Miss Coleman, herself:
'The TARDIS and Clara have a relationship...the TARDIS is making fun of Clara. They kind of have an argument. They’ve got a relationship individual to the Doctor where they have a dialogue.'

Hmmmm...any ideas?:D Xx Posted over a year ago

A spaceship salvage team drags the TARDIS on board, sending its systems into meltdown. As the Doctor marshals the motley salvage crew outside, he realises Clara is still trapped within his malfunctioning ship, pursued by a dangerous group of ossified monsters. He has just 30 minutes to find Clara and save his TARDIS before it self-destructs.

This synopsis was released, I believe, courtesy of the BBC, prior to 'Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS'. :D How enticing! :D X Posted over a year ago
