Let me start with saying that I like some Eminem songs, because some are pretty good...but he has crossed a line. I've recently read an article that shocked me and disturbed me, because it showed me a dark side to my favorite rapper.

If you haven't, a) Read it or b) Leave. Not to be rude, but the following won't make any sense unless you've read the article: Is it just me, or was that a teensy bit disturbing to you? I mean c'mon, raping his mom? Killing his wife? 10 grown men taking his little sister's virginity, and treating it as if it was nothing? Not. Cool. Sure, hopefully he would never actually do these things (I hope), but even impying it is disturbing. How about the thousands--No, MILLIONS probably--of men hearing his music? If Eminem and the media treat this as nothing, what stops them from treating it as if it's nothing? How about the disrespect for women and gay people he shows? Again, not. Cool. Remember, this is just my opinion, and yes some of his songs is good...but when the bad songs outrank the good ones, then it's time to step up |

His mom never treated him right, so why should he treat her right? He would never kill his wife, "Kim" was just a song he wrote cause he still loved her even though she cheated on him.
Eminem is not a bad guy. The critics only attack him because he is white. He is not the first rapper to call a woman a bitch, ho, cunt, whore, ect. They just attack him becuase hes white and so damn popular.
I bet if a black rapper said these things, it wouldnt even be talked about amung the media.
He's a good man and a great father.
And if you dont like him because of this, I think you should stop being his fan cuz its just stupid if you say you're a fan and yet, say that some of his songs are horrible because of words. Its just words!!!!! It would be different if he went and did the things he said, but he doesn't now does he.
I think he says these things because of the way his mother, classmates and doubtful people treated him.
Nothing has to be done about his lyrics. K thanks. Stop hatting and move on with life, these songs are old. Thats the Slim Shady part of him.
Slim Shady = Rude killer evil mad man.
Eminem = Goofy weird funny man.
Marshall Mathers = Warm loving father.

Look, I'm just saying that some of his songs has changed the way I see him alright? And yes, I know he hasn't done these things, but if he makes it sound alright for others to do, what's stopping us?
I'm not asking you to agree with me...I'm just stating my opinion, isn't that what these clubs and the internet is for?
screwing around. He doesn't even believe in half of that stuff. He's actually a really nice guy and supports gay marriage, too. True, Eminem's got a really dark sense of humor, but he's not a bad guy. :)
He's not making it seem okay. Seriously, if someone goes out and does dumbass stuff because they heard it in an Eminem song, then they're just stupid.
