This is, of course, a recreation, and I had to do it from memory as my yearbook isn't with me.

When I pointed out that "Love" (or in this case, "heart") is not a verb in this instance, she said "Ah, but you think I'm just signing my name? I'm reminding you to LOVE your English teacher." Hence, the wink.
