This is a bit mean. After all, what is the difference between a fan with 100 fans and one with 1000? They both contribute to the site :/

EDIT: sidenote: you only have 60 fans, why are you part of it?

At the top it says 4 fans but at the bottom it shows only 3.

And speaking as one of the unpopular poppers may I say don't sprain a shoulder patting yourselves on the back.

I don't think it's necessarily mean... The spot's not saying people with fewer fans (which, let's face it, is most of Fanpop) are less of a popper or anything. It's just a spot about the ones who DO have that many fans.

It's no meaner than a spot that only celebrates a specific fanpopper.

thank you astroasis! spotty_vision21 you must have just judged the spot before you even read anything about it! i said people with less than 1000 fans could join and talk about the ones with 1000+ fans. its not mean. and ive already answered why im there....yes it is weird about the number of fans lol!

I have to say, that I don't think any harm was meant by creating this spot. After all, several users have their own spots all to themselves, don't they? This is just like that, only folks are appreciating particular users who have a lot of fans. This isn't much different than spots made for individual users, really.

I've long ago stopped caring about this kind of an issue. If someone feels the need to create a spot, if they care enough about it, let them.

So long as it's not a repeat. Repeat spots drive me crazy.

I think that 1000 is too much, there are like 5 users with 1000 fans, maybe 500 or something.

This kind of thing has been attempted before and ended up being removed - at the request of the Fanpop users themselves.

The number of fans one has should NOT be any indictation of their worth as either a contributor or a person!

I know you probably meant well but this is an uncessary spot.
Like some of the users have said here: there's already spots on the site for individual users.

i never said that they were better than anyone. and there is another spot out there for people with over 100 fans.

I agree with cammie, does that mean we can start 'the unfanpopular' spot,or a 'fanunpopular' spot, whichever sounds better, some of us may feel more comfortable there, and people who don't have as many fans or are newbies may feel a bit confronted by a spot like this.

I agree with astroasis, but still... you make it seem like a spot that feels exactly like a party where only the "Rich Kids" can get in.
