Fanpop isn't too bad as it is, but here are some changes that could be made:

1. Specify images by URL. 1PokeMastr and I are Wiinet users, so we can't upload images such as icons and banners for any clubs that we'd make. If this change was made, we could post our images by putting in the URL of the images.

2. Highlight club creators. With spots that are basically famous like Random, Fanpop FAIL!, and Anime, it's hard to tell who created the club in the first place. If this change was made, the name of the club's creator would show up in the club's motto. This way, we could PM the creator if we wanted the icon or banner to be changed.

3. An actual security code, if not a better one (I forget if you put in a security code when registering). I've seen a few spambots on Fanpop. Putting in a displayed security code when registering proves that you're human. This is why you don't see spambots on Steam or StepMania Online. Both sites have you put in a displayed security code when you first create your account. With Steam, if you keep putting in the wrong password, you have to put in a security code to prove that you're human. If this change was...

I guess you're already kind of resolved about this, but I thought I'd tell you my standing on it anyway.

If I receive messages and wall posts asking for me to join spots or 'fan' content from Fanpoppers who I have had no prior contact with, and I'm busy, I simply ignore their pleas, with the safe assumption that they've sent them to dozens of people, and even if I didn't want to upset them by being non-responsive, they wouldn't notice.
However, when I have nothing on my hands (Fanpop-wise), I tend to check out their content and see if it's any good, and if I think it contributes to the club well, even if I'm not a personal fan of the content, I'll fan it so that fans of the club will prioritise it higher and thus receive enjoyment from it. If it's bad content, I leave it. And I never fan clubs which people ask me to unless I AM a fan of the club, and prepared to contribute content and join in at some point down the track to and with that club.

But this is merely my own reaction to such questions. From the points you have raised:

Taking a leaf from Kate who is kicking annoying Fanpoppers, THETACOMAN now makes a guide for trolls-
Idiota Piticus, aka Self-Pity troll. This troll is rather annoying. Its really hard to tell if this troll has a problem, or is just complaining. Disgusting how much attention they pay themselves.
Danger- low. All trolls have some level of danger. While they may fly off at you for no absolute reason, self pity usually stops them from causing any real trouble.
Idiota Zelos aka Overzelous troll. This troll often uses religion (or lack thereof) as a sheild for their hate. Citing holy books and/or specific therum are commonplace. They often cling to specific ideas, and when questioned become dangerous.
Danger-Annoying. As a former member of a subspecies of this troll, idiota zelos christoph, I can say we are very annoying. I realize my actions were not called for, and reformed my ways. Nevertheless, not all zealots are dangerous. Some are truly devoted to their beleifs, as I hope I am now.
