Kidding as usual. Actually, it's Sunday and I have some spare time on my hands so I thought I would write up some points I think need changing with the new layoot and I invite you to CONSTRUCTIVELY make your points in the comments. My idea behind this is to have a collection of concerns that we can show the F4. This way instead of ranting and going "OMG I HATE DIS!" we can make ourselves heard. I know the F4 are awesome and have listened to us in the past. Remember the wall debacle? Remember how they changed the layoot after we pointed it oot? Remember how they brought back the forums?

EXACTLY! So let us have all criticism in one place and then I will send them a link and maybe they have time to read our thoughts.
All in all I think we need to remember that fanpop is a business. Some of the changes made are sometimes business descisions: I remember how I hated the "popular content" module and then papa explained how it helped the Search Engine Optimization and now I just ignore it, knowing it is keeping fanpop busy and alive!

I was quite shocked by the changed look of Fanpop, it looks as if it were Facebook, I have nothing against a few changes, banner designs? okay I would be fine with that, no more Icons? I would be fine with that too. But changing the whole site is a little much, don't you think? Not that theres anything wrong with it, but I do believe that I joined Fanpop, not Facebook. All I'm saying is that I believe this change was much to sudden, rushed if you would like. Thats all I'm trying to say, I don't want to be reported for this, so please understand that this is just my opinion. Tell me what you think of the new Fanpop.

Why Fanpop Needs Screencaps

-Screencaps have been added since before there was a screencap category. Now that there's definitely a demand for them here, they'll still get posted - in the photos section. It's already happening. Actual photos are getting buried, and will never be seen again. It's a mess.

-Fanpop is the only place on the web (that any of us could find) that allows any user to post screencaps to any club. Most other fan sites are geared toward something specific (actor, television show) and only allow administrators to share screencaps. This makes Fanpop unique, because they allow(ed) anyone to participate.
