Kowalski and Lilly said nothing as they drove home from the peir. After about 30 minutes of scilence, they arrived back at the zoo and went to the HQ.

THE HQ
Kowalski and Lilly came into the HQ quietly, hopeing that the oters were still asleep. Unforfunately, they were wide awake, and waiting for them. Skipper waddled up to Lilly and Kowalski and gave them each a slap. "WHERE WERE YOU TWO!? I WAS WORRIED SICK!" Skipper asked, backing the two startled penguins into a corner. Lilly opened her beak to answer but Kowalski glared at her and spoke instead. "Lilly and I were just going for a drive as all." replied Kowalski, smiling slightly at Skipper. Lilly then looked at him and nodded. She didn't want to start any more trouble with Kowalski by ratting him out. Skipper then looked twoards the lab. "Alright. If you and Lilly were only going on a 'drive', then howcome the loveulazer is gone?" Lilly's eyes widened as she looked at Kowalski. "Uh. Sir....Theres something we have to tell you...." Skipper looked at her. "The loveulazer is missing..." She finished, stepping back and hanging her head slightly. Skipper just shrugged it off. "Eh, not like it can cause any harm to anyone right?" He asked. "I suppose not...Kowalski?" Lilly replied, taking a quick glance at Kowalski and looking away. "No sir. It's perfectly harmless." Skipper smiled. "See? Problemo solved." Skipper then patted Kowalski on the back and waddled back to the others.
Later that night, Lilly was sitting topside with Skipper. She was telling him what had really happened at the peir. Skipper just listened to what she had to say until she finally finished 15 minutes later. "Thank you for telling me the truth Lilly. I knew I could count on your loyalty." He said, shaking her flipper. "Thank you sir. I respect that you think so." She replied. "You won't get too mad at Kowalski will ya?" Skipper sat down. "Nah, I think he learned his lesson." Skipper replied, patting the ground next to him for Lilly to sit. She did so and pushed her bangs to the side. After a while, Lilly moved alittle closer to Skipper, who looked at her smugly. "If I didn't know any better, i'd say you were trying to make a move on me." He teased, Lilly blushed and moved back quickly. "Oh PLEASE Skipper. Sometimes your ego is bigger than your stomach." She replied, slapping Skipper's belly. Skipper just looked at her. "Are you calli' me fat?" He asked, raising his brow. Lilly tried hard not to laugh. "Well. Im not calling you thin." She teased, standing up and brushing her bottom off. All of a sudden, a loud crash was heard coming from the park. Skipper and Lilly then stopped with the foolish flirting and slid off twoards the park.

THE PARK
Soon they arrived in the park by the lake and they scanned the area. "Where could it have come from?" Lilly asked, back to back with Skipper.
"I dunno, but It had to be somewhere in this are-" Skipper's voice then trailed off as he collapsed to the floor behind her. "SKIPPER!?" Lilly screamed, looking behind her and down at her fallen officer. Then, out of nowhere, Lilly felt a hard object, possibly a large rock, hit her on the back of her head, knocking her unconsious.
