Sean Paul- She doesn't mind.

terhenetar Sure it is. Although I cannot say that I am surprised. I'm not a Sean Paul fan and haven't seen all of his videos, but among those few that I have, I can't think of any that didn't include 'half naked hot chicks shakin' their ass and showin' off their boobs'. Whis is, sadly, usually the case in most popular music videoclips. It reminds of a line from P!nk's 'Stupid girls' [i]What happened to the dreams of a girl president She's dancing in the video next to 50 Cent [/i]. And on a lighter note, I wouldn't mind the security checks that much if the guards looked like that woman. :) Sorry, I couldn't stop myself. Plus, appreciating beauty when you see it and objectifying the person in question are two different things. I wish the music industry concentrated on the former rather than the latter.

pandawinx I dunno, i think it delivers a dangerous message. I mean, all the girls are of a certain size, shape and are all made up, i think it gives off the wrong impression, and with how they are all so promiscuous is not only unrealistic, but i think it's saying that to be accepted and treated as a "full" human being to a man, you must be yourself. It tells men that ALL women are like that and gives unrealistic expectations. I also hate how it isolates the one security guard who doesn't feel comfortable with being promiscuous. (check frown on face as she watches the "sexy real women", as if shes just bitter.)

terhenetar Which guard do you have in mind? The guy at 2:55? There's nothing wrong with being promiscuous. It's the girls degrading themselves to sexual objects in order to catch some guy's attention that I have a problem with. Not to mention the fact that the only 'hot' people in this, and many other, videos are women. I can't recall a single music video where men were portrayed as 'sexy [b]things[/b]'. Have you noticed that Sean Paul is not only fully clothed for the whole time but also doesn't have to do anything to have all those women swooning over him? I'll leave the measurements out of it, it's a topic for a longer rant.

pandawinx "There's nothing wrong with being promiscuous" I never said there was. I said isolating those who aren't and casting them off as just jealous or bitter is. But i definately agree with the rest of your post.
