Mmm...steak. The best, of course, comes from the "Wagyu" cattle (the famous "Kobe" beef is an appellation that applies to Wagyu cattle raised in Japan's Hyogo prefecture).

	monkeypup said: This article doesn't mention the most rare of all Waygu breeds, Mishima beef. There are only 50 head raised a year on tiny Mishima Island. As I understand it, Mishima is the hardest Waygu to get, and therefore the most expensive. I was interested in it after seeing them use it on Iron Chef (original version), where they proclaimed it the most expensive beef on Earth. But they could have been fibbing, what do I know? posted over a year ago.
