It was a very foggy morning. It looked like a swamp or something from a scary story. Driving or walking through it was a frightening experience. The roads were dangerous as you couldn’t see at all. Accidents would often occur from time to time. None have been reported as of now, but everyone knows that these things happen even when we aren’t aware of them.

I was still sleeping in my bed when my alarm clock went off. I turned it off and slowly rose from the covers. My hair was messed up and I looked like a wreck. I started to think about not going to school, but the echoes of my mother’s voice made me changed my mind. After fixing my bed and my hair, I went downstairs to the kitchen. I wasn’t in the mood to chat, so breakfast was pretty silent and dull. My mom asked me if I completed my science project that was due today and I responded, “Yes, I did it last night.” She was proud of me and gave me a gentle hug.
