It has nothing to do with recent plot events (well, sort of??)

I don't like the decision to deviate from the books. When Fullmetal Alchemist did that, the story of the anime became sub-par to the story of the manga.

I'm a book fan first, show fan second. Not to be one of THOSE people, but, well, Iam what Iam.

This is why I don't like reading the book first - because then I don't enjoy the show as much when I'm too busy picking out the bits they've left out or parts that weren't how imagined. If I read the book after, it feels like I'm going behind the scenes :)

instead of freaking out like a book freak.... i looked up the reasoning behind the changes, the real interiews and not a fan backlash article.... and they are all justified, im gonna keep watching and most of the world will also keep watching because they cant resist...this will just make the ending even more powerful and worthwhile

No! I actually decided to stop after the red wedding... But I came back later because I wanted to see what would happen to my remaining favorite characters. And now even though most of my favorite characters are dead I still intend to watch it to the end!

But at this point I'm not fucking happy about it...
