2012 Best Dancer Countdown

Well I finished the Singing portion of the Poll. I would like to add that the results may have been different if more people had left videos in their comment but it was still fun.


In 1st place we have Hyoyeon, for no good reason

In 2nd place we have Yuri, another one with no good reason

In 3rd place we have Yoona , who never seems to make a mistake. Well that is the impression I have of her. I think for Yoona is more about control and how easy she makes the dance. In her “No1” She seemed there and looked like she had a good time so good job Yoona. It wasn’t easy to decide this but I just did simple math. Yoona has the most comments for her and at least someone provided videos of her, so she won 3rd.

4th place goes to Sooyoung , who does better dance solo then in a group. I noticed that in “Sway” she was very smooth and fluid but in the “Boys” videos she was slightly stiff and wasn’t really as fluid as everyone else in the group. In “Sway” she had more energy and was able to put into it, but the “Boys” videos she seems stiff and she wasn’t able to do much so.

I dance better alone

5th place is Seohyun is I guess another Yoona. Someone described her as never making a mistake and good control, which sounds like what someone said about Yoona. In Rhythm Nation, she seemed kinda ehh. I mean she was there, she did the dance correctly (I assume), but I wasn’t impressed how bored she looked, which made me bored looking at her. I give her credit for being able to dance, do the dancer right, and cohesion with the rest of the group.

6th place is Sunny, who won by the skin of her teeth. Not an easy pick by a long shot. I would like to tell the 25 people who voted, if you don’t like these results; you have no one to blame but yourself. I don’t know much about Jessica and Sunny but in this poll there was already a stigma attached to them, where Sunny always making mistakes and Jessica has a natural talent for dancing. The paparazzi video really tipped the scale because I saw the difference in their dances clearer than the other videos provided.

In Paparazzi particularly I found her dance more interesting and I could tell she was feeling the dance, from her rotating head side to side to her cohesive movements with the group. I think with Jessica the reason I can’t put her here is simply by comparison with Sunny. Jessica to me can dance but she didn’t have any of the energy that Sunny had and she moves were a bit sluggish, in comparison. Sunny does a good job at dancing but I don’t think she danced this good in Hoot. If Hoot was the determinate then Jessica would have won.

7th place is Jessica who is very sluggish in her dance. I will be honest I am still kind of bummed about the last poll, but the videos that were provided didn’t help much. Hell she didn’t look like she was trying in the “Boys Practice Room”, she was just there moving her body and the ref video didn’t really help much. But I will say the camera is never really where Jessica is unless she is singing (in which she isn’t dancing). The times when the camera was around for me to look at her dancing it was sometimes unclear or the moments were rare. I can’t give her much credit for her dancing because to me, it lacks energy and kinda sluggish.

8th place is Taeyeon who I guess is the second to last worst dancer. Not much from her dancing but I will say I can’t hold it against her since she sings mostly. But the moment she dances it looks ehh but at least there is something there

Who needs to dance when I can sing

9th place is Tiffany who is the most like Jessica. I don’t think she really tries because I will see her break from the dance early to start singing and when she does dance its like…but since she is last I won’t say too much on that.

At least I am pretty
