Sooyoung sheds tears on her last episode of \'One Night of TV Entertainment\'

On the December 24 edition of SBS\'s \'One Night of TV Entertainment\', Girls\' Generation member Sooyoung, who has served as an MC for two years and six months, gave a teary farewell for her final broadcast.

In the clip above, Sooyoung says, "My heart is heavy having to give this kind of news on Christmas Eve." She continues, "Because I am preparing for next year\'s activities, I came to this difficult decision." Sooyoung refers to the fact that she will be leaving the show due to conflicting schedules with that of her Girls\' Generation activities. 

Sooyoung is then shown a video prepared by \'One Night of TV Entertainment\' to reflect on her memories as an MC. As she watches the video, she begins to tear up. She says, "Just as we\'ve seen in the video, I\'ve had so many good times here and this is a program that has affectionately given me so many memories that I find it impossible to leave." 

She continues to then thank her fellow MCs, production staff, as well as the viewers for her time on the show.

As much as I love SNSD as a group I love each member more as an individual. At this point I\'d rather see their post SNSD careers secured and grown rather than keep dragging out the group activities at the expense of their individual careers and futures.

Soo is like the sweetest thing! I really hope she and the rest of the girls have a lot of activities in store for us Sones to make 2015 a much better Soshi year than this mess called 2014. 

And all of the haters down there need to really find something else to do. Sorry but our girls aren\'t going to change for those that hate them. They\'ll keep going for those of us who love them. 

I hope for a great 2015 for all Sone, kpop fans, GG8, and our Ice Princess. 2014 was meant to make kpop and all of the fans stronger. We still stand tall.

Awww Sooyoung<3<3 Im sure she loved that job, but she quit so that she could focus on Girls\' Generation\'s activities. She is truly dedicated to the group. Love you girl~

Over that time there has probably been an article here on AKP about every two to three months regarding her involvement with that show. I guess you just missed the articles or are new to this site.

The Taeyeon bully strikes again.  First she kicks Jessica out because she\'s threatened by her singing and Jessica having an independent fashion career.  Now she bullies SooYoung into quitting MCing right when she is gaining popularity. Are SooYoung\'s 9 words singing so important to SNSD that she can\'t MC? SooYoung saw what happened to Jessica when she wouldn\'t quit her fashion career so she was left with no choice but to quit her MCing or risk the bully Taeyeon kicking her out too.  I bet her tears are real.  They are tears of being trapped in Taeyeon\'s bullying.  Taeyeon is jealous of everyone who can do more than she can.  She can\'t act, she\'s no good as an MC, she lacks talent in fashion so she attacks the other girls to keep them under SNSD control.  Jessica would not be controlled by Taeyeon she they kicked her out "to protect SNSD" is exactly what bully Taeyeon said.

Some SNSD leader Taeyeon is.  She needs to "protect SNSD" by destroying SNSD.
