Girls\' Generation\'s Sunny promises \'Catch Me If You Can\' gets better with each listen

Although some fans are tilting their heads at uncertainty regarding Girls\' Generation\'s new EDM track, "Catch Me If You Can," Sunny assured that it only gets better the more you listened to it!

MBC radio program, \'Sunny\'s FM Date,\' she played their new song and said, "You need to keep listening to it for it to grown on your ears.  As you need to listen to it more before you come to a judgment about it, I put on Girls\' Generation\'s \'Catch Me If You Can.\'"

She humorously added, "I look different in the MV than I do here," as she looked comfortable in casual clothes rather than hot construction-worker-inspired outfits. Still looking good, Sunny!  No worries.

For me personally, I liked the song right away cos I\'m a fan of EDM and GG themselves. But as a whole idk about SM\'s decision for them, cos what\'s the point if you produce a song that gets better only after playing it multiple times? Most people are gonna judge a song at a first listen. And I get how SM\'s trying to pull the "a Girls\' Generation with a new sound this time" card, but it defeats the purpose of a GG song when it\'s not GG type.

And the more SM tries something new out for the girls every time, it dilutes GG\'s essence. Ed Sheeran\'s known for his acoustic unplugged sounds, and Coldplay for (alternative) rock. The more SM invents new things for GG, the more puppeteering there seems to be.

I\'m not listening to a song 45 times in order for me to like it. The song sucks balls. The end.

Many are saying that GG is one of the rare groups who try something new with each comeback and this statement is actually true!BUT what is the purpose of trying new things if it\'s not done correctly? I just wished they had invested more for this comeback irrespective whether it\'s Jap or Korean. After all they have a title to maintain and they shouold focus on the general appeal and not just sones.
