Chapter 1 - swapped at birth

On a cold snowy night in a twoleg home, two kits where born. One she-kit named Princess and a tom named Fire. The parents, Nutmeg and Jake smiled at their two kits. Princess swatted at Rusty with tiny claws. He squealed a bit. Rusty did not fight back. "What a shame." Jake said disappointed. "He's just a kit Jake," Nutmeg meowed " he just needs to learn." Jake stared at Nutmeg, " TAKE HIM AWAY! We don't need him." He spat. " JAKE, YOU DONT HAVE TO DO THIS! He's our son." She hissed. " IF HE'S NOT OUT OF HERE BY TOMORROW, I'LL KILL HIM!!" Nutmeg stared in horror....

"Hey, Jay, how's my apprentice doing today?" Cloud mewed to his apprentice.
"I'm good!" Jay felt a familiar pressure.
"Can I go to the dirtplace real quick?" he asked.
"Not right now, Ice is choosing patrols."
"Hey, Cloud, Jay, Fire wants you on hunting duty."
"B-but can't we go on border patrol?" Jay begged hopefully.

"I know I don't want to leave you, but I have to go. The pain is to much." Jake meowed to his kits. "Dad, why you do this to us!?" Firekit hissed. "Look Firekit, the only way to make me happy again is to go back with Quince. But before I go in 2 days. Quince is coming here with her kits. I can get to know her a little better." Jake explained. "Okay." The kits mewed. The twoleg opened the door. A gray she-cat with three kittens came in. "Hello Jake." The gray she-cat meowed. "Why hello Quince." Jake meowed back. Princess and Firekit padded toward Jake. "These are my kits, Ruby, Socks, and Tiny." She pointed to each of her kits with her tail as their names where said.

Chapter 2- the hit that changed everything

It's been 4 moons sense Firekit joined Thunderclan. Kits are playing in the nursery. Firekit is playing with Ravenkit and Graykit. "You can't catch me!" Graykit mewed while running away from Ravenkit and Firekit. Firekit pounced on Graykit. "I win!" He meowed proudly. "Oh yah! How bout THIS!" Graykit challenged then shout out his back legs at Firekit. Firekit was too busy with being proud that he didn't notice Graykit's words. " FIREKIT, WATCH OUT!!!" Ravenkit screeched. "What do you mean, watch ou...." he was cut of by a pain in him and being flown...
