The Cast of Glee Reveals How They'll Honor Cory Monteith in the Series Finale

Glee Reveals How They\'ll Honor Cory Monteith in the Series Finale

We were already preparing to stock up on tissues for the Fox musical dramedy\'s final outing, but now that the cast revealed that the series finale will honor late cast member Cory Monteith, we know we\'re going to be reduced to a puddle of ugly tears during the episode.

for Thursday\'s show, Lea Michele Chris Colfer, Jenna Ushkowitz, Darren Criss and Chord Overstreet confirmed that there would be a final homage to their former costar.

"There\'s a moment in the last episode that we have," Overstreet says. "And obviously when we wrapped we all took a moment together."

"He was there, though," Colfer adds. "We could feel him. He was there."

And while the fans are sure going to be crying while watching the episode, it turns out the cast couldn\'t stop crying while filming it.

"It was really cathartic," Criss says. "Everyone\'s always like, \'Are you going to cry? Are you going to cry?\' Of course you\'re going to cry! There were moments where I didn\'t feel the need to cry but then everyone else was and I felt like a jerk for not crying. And then I would join in and I\'d be like, \'Oh my god this feels so good!\' To cry it out felt so nice."

"Jenna and I always cry," Michele says. "Chord and Chris never cry. So when you see them cry? And Darren doesn\'t cry either...but we cried so hard they actually had to cut."

But it\'s actually Overstreet who had the greatest thing to say about everyone crying while filming the finale.

"I was hysterically laughing," Overstreet says. "I was like, \'Guys, we\'re all like, close to 30 playing high school crying about a Paul Simon song!\' But those emotions are very close."
