At the beggining I was like "What the hell?" but after I thought that it made perfectly sense, because the only thing he wanted was to be part of the group but he couldn't because he wasn't rich. And he did that because he always loved Serena and was the only way to get closer to her. And GG also wrote bad thing about Lonely Boy.
