Do you completely HATE David Yates now?! (read inside)

Well if you look back on the scene in Deathly Hallows on pgs. 376-377, the whole thing that caused Ron to destroy the locket was his anger at Riddle-Hermione kissing Riddle-Harry, whom he feared Hermione may have a crush on since she opted to stay with Harry instead of leave with Ron earlier in the novel. The following passage shows what I mean:

" 'Who wouldn't prefer him, what woman would take you, you are nothing, nothing, nothing to him,' crooned Riddle-Hermione, and she stretched like a snake and entwined herself around Riddle-Harry, wrapping him in a close embrace. Their lips met. ...Ron looked toward him [Harry], and Harry thought he saw a trace of scarlet in his eyes." (Rowling 337).

So you see, the scene is a necessity, and it does need to involve the kissing and it does need to make it look like Riddle-Harry and Riddle-Hermione are seriously involved so that enough anger over the situation boils over in Ron causing him to destroy the locket. Furthermore, in much fan art, including the more well known one below by =mary-dreams, the Riddle forms of Harry and Hermione are depicted as being nude, so it makes logical sense that Yates would have the two actors perform the scene at least semi-nude (I can't see too much nudity b/c I'm sure they want to keep it PG-13). It also seems logical to assume in the novel that the Riddle forms were nude, even though it was not mentioned.

Please relax, weaslyismyking, I looked into this and an article on mugglenet.com clears it up completely. Here is a excerpt;

"It's a fascinating scene in which Harry and Ron (Rupert Grint) [are] trying to kill a Horcrux (a magical creature). He tries to defend [himself] and creates an image of Voldemort's soul, [and there are a] series of images between which are Harry and Hermione (Emma Watson) kissing and embracing. And we will create something that feels very sexy and very intriguing to bring about reaction of Rupert (who Hermione is in love)."

It's for the Horcrux thing when Ron sees that image right before he smashes it, it's not 'real'.

I agree as this will cause some underage people to not be able to see the movie. But it will show how much Ron like Hermione (kinda cute). Its also kinda gross to have Daniel Radcliffe naked too though (ewwwww).

No!As the film will be watched by mainly teenagers I am sure Dan and Emma won't appear totally naked!I guess such a scene between Dan and Emma would be great.

They won't be fully naked because it's also aimed at young children

i dont care whether he is naked in deathly hallows. they are being paid for it. but on the other hand to see harry and hermione naked would be the worst part in to see. i m sorry t say this but this is what i think :( :( :(
