I awoke the next morning to pandemonium.
''I CAN'T FIND MY DADA BOOK! WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?!''
As usual, Aimee wasn't prepared for the start of term. ''Just relax, Aimee, we'll find it.''
We searched the Dormitory, under beds, on beds, between blankets.. but no book.
''How could I lose it? I have DADA first this morning!''
''Just borrow one from the cabinets and order a new one, I dunno! It's obviously not here.''
Aimee was being grumpy now. ''I'll just write home and see if I forgot it..'' She grumbled.
When we finally got all our stuff, Lizzie, Aimee, and I went into the Great Hall for breakfast. The usual commotion of birds delivering mail and students chattering greeted us. Lizzie had her usual oatmeal, Aimee grudgingly took some cereal, and all I could eat was an apple.
''Rose, I know your appetite. You're going to be starving five minutes into DADA this morning.'' Aimee was staring at me curiously. I was the one that always had a huge meal every day, and all I was eating was a particularly small apple.
''I'm.. just not hungry.'' It was half true, I wasn't really hungry. But I knew as well as Aimee that I would be starving this morning.
''Not hungry my arse,'' Aimee said, and handed me cereal. ''Eat it.''
I took the cereal and ate it, although it tasted revolting. I looked down the long Gryffindor table, and saw Lily with her friends, James sitting with Albus and Fred.. where was Hugo?
''Hold on,'' I said to Aimee, and walked over to James.
''Where's Hugo? Have you seen him?'' I started to breathe heavily, out of fear. Hugo never missed meals, except for detention. How could he have detention already? And we never have detention in the mornings. James looks around, and with a muffin in his mouth, says, ''I dunno, the library?''
''Haha. Very funny, James.''
''I'm serious!''
Why would Hugo be in the library? The only times he goes in there is to talk to me, or Lily, or anyone else. He never reads or studies unless it's mandatory. ''Fine,'' I grumble, and leave. Something lately about Hugo is different. He's not being himself, and it worries me. I get back to Lizzie and Aimee at the end of the table, and all we do is make small talk. Finally students are getting up to leave and to go to their first class. Aimee and I go to DADA, while Lizzie heads to Herbology.
When we get to the classroom, a new professor greets us. ''Good morning,'' She says sharply. Aimee and I get a seat next to each other, in the front.
''There will be no talking, fooling around, or naughty behavior.'' She lists out her rules. ''No gum chewing, and absolutely no random wand waving of any kind.'' When she smiles, it only looks like she's pressing her lips together.
''Now, lets begin!''
She walked to the front of the room, and when she got to the front, turned around and paused. She reminded me of somebody, but I couldn't put my finger on who it was...
''My name is Ms. Hopkirk,'' She said sternly. ''Some of you may recognize me.. but most of you will not.''
Where have I heard Hopkirk before?
For the rest of the lesson, all she does is talk about what we're going to be covering this term. Aimee falls asleep next to me, and I don't even bother to wake her up since I'm close to sleeping myself. Finally, it's the end of class, and everyone is speeding out of there.
Aimee and I meet up with Lizzie, and we all walk to History of Magic.
''So, you know the boy that wasn't happy with his sorting yesterday?''
''Yeah..?'' We both ask, knowing he isn't in our year. ''What about him?''
''Well, his brother is in our class! Says that he's a disgrace to the family.''
''Slytherins' can be a bit proud..'' Aimee murmured.
''Who was it?'' I asked, dying to know.
''His first name is Thomas, but I have no idea what his last name is.''
We try to figure out who it could possibly be on the way to class, racking our brains of a Thomas in our year. I think of no one. We arrive at History of Magic five minutes late, but the professor doesn't even seem to notice.
''This is why History of Magic is my favorite class,'' Aimee muttered. ''He barely notices all the crap we do.''
''I think History of Magic's interesting..'' Lizzie says.
I remember once, my mother told me that she loved this class, whereas dad and Uncle Harry hated it. But my mother always was..
''Odd.'' Aimee said. ''It's really odd that you enjoy this class because it's interesting.''
Aimee and Lizzie have a hushed argument throughout the whole class, and it takes all my willpower not to interfere. I just want to get to lunch. Not because I'm hungry, but because I need to see Hugo.

Lunch in the Great Hall
When Aimee, Lizzie, and I arrive at the Great Hall for lunch, Aimee and Lizzie are still having their debate. I honestly could care less about it, I'm still thinking about Hugo. I'm looking around, my eyes scanning the Gryffindor table, but he's still not there. I allow myself to look at the Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff.. and then I see him at the Slytherin table.
What? He's sitting there, acting all chummy, his normal self like he usually would be at the Gryffindor table. I walk over to James.
''Look!'' I hiss, and point in Hugo's direction.
His mouth opens so wide some of his lunch falls out. ''What the hell is he doing there?''
''I dunno! I'm just gonna let him sit there for today, but when Isee him in the Common Room he's gonna have an interrogation.''
And I leave James, still gawking at Hugo. I'm honestly beside myself, he always was the kind of Gryffindor that had a healthy rivalry with Slytherin.. and now he's sitting at their table? I decide to write to Mum and Dad.
Dear Mum and Dad,
I think something's wrong with Hugo. Yes, I'm not joking. You know Dad's always ingrained the rivalry with Slytherin in our heads.. but Hugo's sitting at the Slytherin table! And Mum, I don't know what to do. Why is he there? I promise you I'll write again with the answers, I'm gonna talk to him later.
Love always,
Rosie
I look over at the Slytherin table again, and see Hugo laughing with a boy and a girl in his year. It just makes no sense.
What has happened to my brother?

The Gryffindor Common Room
At first, I didn't even think Hugo was going to come. But finally, at 10 P.M., he comes in. He sees me as soon as he steps through the portrait.
''Hey Rosie! You look upset, what's the matter?''
''Hugo. Don't pretend I don't know that you sit with them.''
This gets him mad. ''What's wrong with Abby and Blake?''
''Abby and Blake? You really know their names?''
''Yeah, why wouldn't I? I don't need your permission to have friends, Rose.''
''I know, I know. But still, you know how Dad-''
''Dad isn't always right about everything, Rosie.''
Then he storms past me and goes into the Boys Dormitory. His words sting.
Dad isn't always right about everything.

this is a song that I wrote, and it describes how Snape felt when he found Lily, dead, in her home. Btw, the parts in brackets are the chorus, and I will only type the chorus one time. ENJOY:
I found you lying on the floor,
dead
Had to hold my heart higher than my
head
[c]I took you in my arms and said
[h]Always, always
[o]I'll always love you
[r]Always, always
[u]After all this time
[s]Still wish you were mine
The rat did what his master said
Very next day, I found you dead
(chorus)
He only wanted the boy,
You stood in his way
He played with you like a toy
And you died that day
(chorus)
'whisper' always
I found you lying on the floor,
dead
Had to hold my heart higher than my
head
[c]I took you in my arms and said
[h]Always, always
[o]I'll always love you
[r]Always, always
[u]After all this time
[s]Still wish you were mine

Okay I am a Harry and Hermione shipper. I like them together. I still love the author and i still like Ginny. I never really cared for Ron because of the way he treated Harry. Anyways... I concluded she could put anyone (minus Cho) with Harry and he is a good match with them. Harry is just one of those guys. He has a great heart. If Harry couldn't be with Hermione i wish it was with Luna. But in the books i can see that he is good for Ginny. I dont hate her. I dont mind her. I just dont like that fangirl kinda love. well my friend and me had a argument over this and i wouldn't budge. But i do think it is crazy to hate an amazing author for a pairing.
Yep.You HP fans know the moment Im talking about. You know, that moment when Hedwig's Theme played for the last time, when you wanted to cry and cheer, scream and weep at the same time...that time you knew it was ending yet refused to accept it.That moment, when all the boundaries vanished, when we all rose together from different places, from different countries,we all came together, clapping, smiling and crying at the same time. That was the moment when we found that, nothing has really changed, despite everything that has.Amidst the thunderous applause and the shouts and cries in the theater all,we knew that there has never been anything like Harry Potter. And there never will be..and that the oak doors of Hogwarts will always swing open to us in welcome...
WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU,HARRY...
WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU,HARRY...

I have a few friends that are Percy Jackson fanatics and we were discussing who was more evil that day, Kronos or Voldemort. I obiously chose Voldemort and all my other friends chose Kronos. Lost cause, right?
Anyway, one of my friends, she said that Kronos ate his children and Voldemort did not.
Oh yeah? Voldemort doesn't even understand love to marry someone in the first place or he would have murdered his child cold-blood the momend he/she was born. Eh?
What do you think?
The discussion didn't go on very long because, well, we found better things to talk about.
Post you note and you opinion on who you think is eviller (is that a word, I think so...) Kronos or Voldemort.
A/N It really helps if you know Greek Mytholody

Harry woke with a start as Teddy’s cries pierced the small room. He groggily climbed out of the warm bed and stumbled over to the bassinet by the window. In the moonlight he could see that Teddy’s hair was bright pink. Chuckling to himself, he lifted the baby out of the crib and started over to the rocking chair.
He fed Teddy some warm milk.He stopped crying. Harry smiled, and Teddy smiled back.Harry put him back in the crib.Instantly Teddy fell asleep.

* The Elder Wand was supposed to be unbeatable, but Dumbledore defeats Grindlewald to win it.
* In chapter nine, Hermione, Ron, and Harry escape the Burrow to Tottenham Court Road where they are followed to a small, shabby cafe by two Death Eaters. The Death Eaters are hit by spells by Harry and Hermione and they have to decide what to do with them. Harry suggests they just wipe their memories, and Hermione says she's never done this. BUT earlier in chapter six Hermione explains that she has modified her parents' memories and sent them to Australia to keep them safe.
NOTE: Many of these book mistakes were corrected in later versions, so the mistake may not appear in your HP book.
