Harry Potter film to conjure up Oscar for JK Rowling 

Good for her ! I think she did manage well in not giving up total control over her work to the movie industry. She had required a few things which had been pertinent choices (like an UK and Irish cast only for the relevant parts, for example).

I also hope that they will give an Oscar to Alan Rickman for his interpretation of Severus Snape throughout the whole series. He truly deserves it !
