I'm pretty sure Harry is Catholic. I'm Catholic too, so I recognize a lot of the things he wears. He often wears a St. Christopher medal necklace, who is the patron saint of travelers, and he usually tucks it into his shirt. Recently, he's been wearing a crucifix (cross with the crucified Jesus on it), which is the main symbol of Catholicism. He also has two crucifix tattoos on his chest.
I love how people think Catholicism is completely different than Christianity. Just for everyones' information, Catholicism and Orthodoxy are the oldest denominations of the Christian religion. Just how Islam has the Sunni and the Shia branches, there are multiple branches of the Christian faith. Just because you may be Baptist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, etc., It doesn't mean that Catholics aren't Christians alongside those other branches. It's all in how you're taught from a young age.
I think he's pretty open with his religions, which is why I like him. He has Jewish tattoos, does things that other religions do, and he wears a cross/crucifix on a chain sometimes. He also has those cross tattoos. So, I think he's Catholic, but is open to other religions. :)
I thought Niall was a Budist, Liam was Jewish, Harry was Christian, Louis is either atheist or Christian and Zayn is Muslim. I read an article a while back that said Louis hasn't commented on his religion yet.
he is mainly catholic (or christian) but he has a jewish dad or something like that, that is why he has a hebrew tattoo and celebrates the jewish holidays as well as the christian (or catholic) ones, even though they have the same, i think, i dont know im jewish
I guess he's Anglicanism, Is almost the same as Catholic or Christian But its have some differences. This Is the official Religion On England! Or if not he maybe Christian, The think is that he believe in God!
Niall Is Catholic because Almost all Irish people Are catholic, Zayn Is Muslim I Guess Louis and Liam are Anglicans
He is defiantly a christian. Being Catholic is less common because he Anglican Church of England is the established church of England. If I'd have to guess I'd say that's it, but he has never declared which denomination. He is not Jewish though. He wouldn't wear a cross if he was considering Jews don't see Jesus as the savoir, they view him as a prophet.
I am astonished at the idiots who don't understand that a Catholic IS a Christian! I am going to guess they are some kind of Protestant Faith....Baptist on Pentacostal....because they are the ONLY ones who call Jews Christians, Mormons non-Christians and think that if you don't go to their little church, you can't get into Heaven. I am weary of a spin-off religion started by a man who didn't get his way. Learn something that DOESN'T come from your preacher.
Ive been wondering that to but ifnu pit all the clues togehter as in the cross tatt represents jesus, 3 nails represents the crusification, two hands represnt , having good relationship with god can help u habe a good relationship with others, the cross necklace he has of jesus means his either catholic but then the jewish symbol, they dont worship jesus because suposably he didnt fullfill any of the prohecies, but then again he cant be jewish whatsoever ... In my calculations as a chrsitan i think he has the jewish star because jesus was a jew as well as princess esther. she worshiped jesus everyday of her life. So in other words harry must be a christian cuz if u think about it of he was catholic he will have other idols besides jesus!!? .
Oh my gosh. Listen people. There is no difference between a catholic and a Christian. You are acting like it is two different religions. Catholic is a catigory in the Christian religion. Just like baptist, Presbyterian, exc. they all pray to Jesus but just do different things. Catholics have a pope and talk to marry (Jesus' mother) but baptist pray only to Jesus and many don't believe in drinking achohol. Catholic is still Christian. It's just a different catigory of the Christian religion. Now, Harry is catholic. The Jesus on the cross on his neck is a big piece to represent that. Now something said that he wears that bc he is catholic and Christian don't do that? Yes they do bc catholic is a catigory. Christianity is a religion. So yes. Anyone in the Christian religion can wear Jesus on a necklace if they want. Now Liam, if someone says he is "Christian" that simply means that he is in no specific catigory. He believes in Jesus an what he did, he might pray, but he probably chooses his own rules. When you are in a catigory, you usually follow the rules of which you are in. You can disobey the usual rules but you might just feel a little odd among the people who are doing differently. So when you say "I'm Christian" you are simply stating you are a Christian. Tht doesn't mean you have no catigory. You may just not want to get that In-depth. Or it might mean that you aren't in a catigory. You just believe in God but don't attend a Baptist, Catholic, exc. church. But as for Liam, he may not be in a specific catigory or he may just not be getting in-depth of what he is. Just wanted to clear that up about Christanity.
