I would probably just ask why. I don't think anybody at my school even knows what a Vocaloid is, but judging from all the comments I've read online, there are a lotta haters out there. I've gotta say one thing- haters be hatin'. Nothing's going to change that. Again, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, although I'd prefer that some keep it to themselves.

To be honest, I don't really like Miku overall. Some songs like 'Black Rock Shooter', 'World is Mine' and 'Bacterial Contamination' I love, but I prefer other Vocaloids like Rin, Gumi and Luka. I don't like Miku's voice, just what she usually sings (or her most popular songs anyway). I think the design is poor, though I like her face and hair. The main reson I dislike Hatsune Miku is her fans: if you say "I don't like her" to most of the fan base, they will kill you. That's why I stick to Rin and Luka mainly.

So what? That's their opinion. Not everybody is going to like Miku. Some people hate Vocaloid all together!

a lot of people hate Miku, i would get angry but i wouldn't show it. me personally i like Kagamine rin better if someone said i hate her, i would punch them in the face, how could you hate someone so cute!

I would say, "Okay." I respect the opinions of others. Miku isn't really my favorite, either. I like her a lot, but Gumi definitely tops her. Gumi and Ritsu are number one for me, Miku will have to live with third place. Besides, if someone doesn't like Miku, that's their loss. She's a great singer.

I am okay with some and many people hating Miku even though she is my fav but if they start insulting her, i would punch them in the face. I am okay with them saying I hate Hatsune Miku but i do prefer keeping it for their own.

I would ask why. People have a right to opinions, but only of they've got support for the opinion. If they say "Cause", I'm sooooo punching them.
