Do We Have A Love-Hate Relationship?

It's the same guy in my 'How Do I Get Over Him?' question.
I'm really confused about it all now.
He says he doesn't like me, but doesn't hate me either.
And I hate everything about him...but I love him so goddamn much.
Is this a love-hate relationship or something?
All my friends are like, "Oh my god, don't you see?! He loves you he's just denying it to you and himself!" but I'm not so sure. Please, seriously, help me out here.
My heart is aching so much and I just want to know the truth or at least get SOME truthful answers.
