Did any of you hear of the Hermione Granger Effect? Apparently, young girls have stopped drinking and taking drugs since Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was released, and they have been becoming more studious. I grew up with Harry Potter, and Hermione taught me that I am strong, that if I tried hard that I can be great! And believe me, I needed that! She backed up for her friends and stood by them! It's plain and simple; Bella sucks! She is annoying , dependent, selfish, and weak. She sends the message to thousands of girls everywhere that it's ok to fall apart when your boyfriend leaves; it doesn't matter that you were 'his personal brand of heroin'. Totally, all Bella cares about is her stupid wish to become immortal. When Edward left Bella, she curled up into the fetal position on a forest floor and became numb to the world for almost a year, when Ron left Hermione, she went on trying to destroy Horcuxes and defeat the Dark Lord. Bella isn't exactly brave. She'd rather be 'numb' or a 'zombie' to the world than face the fac that her vampire boyfriend isn't returning. Bella isn't selfless; she doesn't care what she does to Charlie when she has to leave to go to Phoenix to run from James. She leaves, purposely saying something that she knows will hurt Charlie. She cares more about her boyfriend than her father, the man who gave her life. Bella leads Jacob on throughout the whole series, then allows her daughter to be given a Quilete version of a promise ring. Promising her daughter to a man that's more than triple her age.
