On a distant planet, far from our own galaxy, their lives a species not unlike the ourselves. This is planet Decibles the inhabitants are known as Deciblites similar to humans in almost every way, but their biology is quite different.

The Deciblites are beings who produce an incredible amount of sound energy, and have made it a part of their own lifestyle. Deceblites discovered this biological phenomenon in what would be seen as their Renaissance era where science and mathematics flourished, and this lead to an even more important discovery, there are minerals inside the planet, parts of the planets core that absorb this energy, and this mineral (known as Amps) is used by the Deciblites as fuel for almost all of their needs. They have an increased evolutionary status because they are a science based species, believing everything has a scientific explanation and have developed interstellar travel much sooner than most other species have.

Aside from the sound producing ability of their species, Deciblites biology is not all that different from humans, same number of body parts in the same locations, similar mating rituals, but the death of a Deciblite is much different. When a Deciblite dies, they are not buried, because when thy die, they do not decay as most organisms do, they transcend. In a traditional sense, the soon to be departed lie on their deathbed in their final moments with the ones they love and the moment they die, their body fades away, becoming pure sound and floating off into the atmosphere, and then among the stars. As logical as the Deciblites are, they hold a belief in their hearts that their ancestors watch over them, giving them guidance and protection from far away.

Deciblites are well known around the universe, not for their scientific achievements or their technology, but for what they are. Deciblites are kidnapped for their energy, if someone can harness the energy from a Deciblite, then they would have a constant source of fuel for their needs. Deciblites are even more rare as a source of fuel because acquiring one is complicated as well, they have formidable weapons which provide excellent protection, and with nothing else but sound patterns, they can deduce if an outsider is friendly or not. Because of this, Deciblites being kidnapped from their planet has become quite rare, but that doesn't mean that there is still risk, especially for the child, Symphon.

Symphon was the child of an Amp miner on Decibles, he had just been born and slept in the maternity ward, unaware that destiny would choose him to have his life changed forever. Intruders from another planet managed to break into the hospital to steal one of the children, many of them had gone down, but one was able to take Symphon and make it back to his ship, leaving his comrades behind and taking heavy damage from the planets defenses. Before the Deceblites at the hospital could find the missing child, it was already too late, the kidnapper had taken Symphon and flown far beyond their reach.

Sitting idly in his ship flying off to other planets to auction his new haul to the highest bidder, but he keeps losing his concentration due to the loud cries of the child in the cargo he, he tries to close all doors to so he won't hear him, but he's too loud, and he gets louder, loud enough so that his very screams start to tear the ship apart, the kidnapper tries to stabilize the ship, but it's no use, so he runs to the escape pod and leaves the ship to crash with the baby inside. The remains of the ship crash onto planet earth and in the cargo bay, the infant still cries, but now, someone is around to make those cries stop. A couple a few miles away hear the young one crying, as deafening as it is, they hold him, and try to have him calm down, and when he does, everything around them becomes quiet enough to hear a pin drop. They don't know where he cam from, but they do know one thing, they can't leave this child alone, so they take him in as their own, and become the start of his new life.

The Earth of today is not new to the idea of super powered beings, mutants and meta humans coexist with humans, but hey are also segregated, super children going to separate schools, and adults working in special conditions that suit their abilities, Symphon, now named by his Earth parents as Mike Gibson, grows up believing he's a mutant with the ability to control sound, so he goes to a super school, and lives what a normal life can be for a mutant in today's society. Mike has many hobbies and interests because of his abilities, most of them having to do with music, he can play any instrument, and he likes to listen to music really loud, and it can't affect his hearing so it's a plus for him. His abilities consist of, blasting sound waves from his own body or anything he is in contact with, creating force fields of pure sound around him, using sound to make himself fly, can isolate sounds, mute all sound in an area, imitate the voice or noise of anything he's heard, can hear from an extremely far distance, and can throw his voice to anywhere in his line of vision.
