I remember visiting this website once...
It was called ‘Hindsight’ Season 1 Finale Spoilers — Becca/Kevin/Lolly | TVLine
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
(VH1, 10/9c), Becca ponders the age-old question: Can you
On the time-traveling series, however, the “all” is her BFF Lolly and the man Becca might be destined to be with, for whom Lolly also has feelings. Kevin, the guy in question, also happens to be the source of the friends’ falling out in the future, and Becca’s determined to stop history from repeating itself in 1995. There’s one little problem, though: Kevin

Below, Fox discusses the many men in Becca’s life — there’s also the future ex-husband and second hubby, because a girl’s got to have options — and the finale’s

TVLINE | The last episode ended with Becca and Kevin kissing on the roof. What does the fallout look like?
Becca’s been trying to steer clear of anything happening with Kevin from the second he walked in the door. She feels like Kevin is Kryptonite, and at the same time, she’s powerfully drawn to him and he to her in a way that seems to transcend space and time, and that’s also hard for her to ignore. Becca is struggling to reconcile her desire to do the “right thing” with her desire to follow her heart. Kevin has been yet another in a series of personal challenges for her as she’s trying to figure out [if] there’s a way to do both. Along the way, in most of the episodes, she’s had to make a decision between doing the right thing and following her heart, and she’s always done the right thing. She let Andy go because she was convinced that was the right thing to do, that her being with Andy was not good for him. This time, there’s more at stake. [She’s] fearful of what she and Kevin being together can do to Lolly.
Hindsight Sneak Peek: Melrose Place Star Is Lolly’s Relationship Role Model
TVLINE | The first time, the truth hurt Becca and Lolly’s friendship so badly that it was impossible to fix it. Could it be different this time?
[Becca] dearly hopes that it’ll be different because everything is different now. Her agenda would be, as it has been all along, to protect this friendship. But at the same time, it feels like there is a puppet master sometimes. Like, why is Kevin here now? Becca made what seemed like an inconsequential decision to go to this REM concert. It just seemed like a fun weekend getaway, and it didn’t stand out as a decision that would have reverberations and consequences for her. And yet, she brings Lolly with her on this road trip and Lolly runs into Kevin, and this is different than their original timeline. [Originally], when Becca met Kevin, it was years later. Becca has been operating in her 1995 redo [thinking], “This thing that happened between us is years away. We can both totally be safe by then and happily married to other people. This may never happen.” Then Kevin shows up on her doorstep.
Our show doesn’t take a firm position on fate vs. free will, like it’s one or the other. We believe, like everyone does, that it is a little bit of both. Some things just happen, and some things, it seems like there’s a little bit of design in that. It’s hard to say that there isn’t necessarily. When Kevin shows up on her doorstep, Becca feels like someone or something put him there for a reason, and she’s being forced to confront this big elephant in the room long before she was mentally prepared to have to do so. Now she’s struggling with, “How do I deal with what’s in my heart about this man who might be my soulmate while I have to protect my friendship at all costs? Is there a way to do both? Is there a way to protect the friendship and succumb to this powerful pull that I feel towards this man?”
RELATEDPilot Season ’15: Scoop on This Fall’s (Possible) New Shows, Who’s In Them
TVLINE | She let Andy go, but it feels like there’s unfinished business there.
I would say that’s a true statement because she now, for better or worse, owns a piece of Andy’s heart and vice versa. That’s always been true because they’ve always known each other and he’s always loved her. Part of the experience she had through traveling through time was to realize that she did love him and what a good person he was. When she was marrying him in 2015 in the opening of the pilot, she was so hounded by feelings of remorse in her life that he was hurling underneath that canopy, but he didn’t exactly deserve to be there. He was better for her than she realized. In seeing him through this different lens and seeing younger Andy, [she realizes], “He’s a lovely man, and I didn’t totally appreciate him in the time I was with him. Now that I see him through this different lens, I appreciate him more and love him, but I can’t be with him when the universe is telling me not now, not him, you can’t have him, like stay away.” She’s the Kryptonite in that scenario by walking away. He doesn’t see it as that. He sees it as she’s so heartless, and she’s not. She’s just alarmed by what has happened to him and so horrified to think that she was the architect of that in any way that she backs away slowly because she’s like, “I cannot be responsible for this. It’s a far, far better thing that I do [leave him].”
TVLINE | Meanwhile, it feels like Sean and Becca and that chapter is closed.
That’s pretty fair to say. Sean has been the one character that is thriving the most as a result of what happened with him and Becca. Her initial decision to rush out of the wedding, to the naked eye, it looks brash and spontaneous, but we know that it’s not. With Sean, there’s a scenario in which he gets left at the altar and goes into a deep hole and never comes out. That’s a traumatic experience. But instead, what happens to him is he licks his wounds and gets up and moves on with his life and goes on to become a man with more maturity and more perspective than in the original timeline. By the end of the season, Sean’s the one who has the most forward momentum. He’s realized his potential as an artist, he’s met new people and he’s thriving in a way that he never did when he was with Becca, and Becca realizes that we’re way better apart than we were together. Seeing how successful he’s become and how mature he’s become is bittersweet because maybe she’s been holding him back along. Or maybe it’s a little bit like a happy accidental victory for her, like, “Oh, at least someone came out ahead.” [
TVLINE | You don’t have a Season 2 renewal yet. How did that factor into writing the finale? Did you want to give a sense of closure? Did you want to do a cliffhanger?
a cliffhanger. My main thrill in life is a cliffhanger, so I never wanted to wrap it up and put a bow on it because it’s so fun to keep people guessing. One of the things that influenced the finale and where it would drop us off was the ending of
series, which I was part of the vocal minority who thought the ending to
was one of the greatest things I’ve seen in my life, and a lot of people
hated it and went insane after that finale. It was successful because we’re still talking about it. Some of the best finales that I’ve seen are the ones we still talk about. In contrast, the end of
was very tied up and wrapped up with a bow and was also completely brilliant. But to me, the open-endedness to the end of
was just completely hypnotic and perplexing, and I love a challenge. So our heads were moving in that direction and that’s what we wanted to do.

\'Hindsight\' 90s References, Music, Clothes & More In Season 1
I really enjoy this show and hope that there’ll be a second season.
I really enjoy this show. I hope they renew it.
I am really liking this show! I haven’t really followed up on the ratings but I hope they are good enough for a second season.
I really hope VH1 renews the show, but I do think Becca should be single for a bit next season. She’s had way too many love interests in just 10 episodes.
That’s a good point. I LUV the drama of the relationships but I’d appreciate seeing her rise in personal strength, too.
I LOVE this show and really hope that it comes back for season 2. I think I love it so much because I totally can relate to Becca. I’m 40 and I wonder how my life would be different if I went back and did things differently (not that I regret anything more just curious). Plus it brings back to many awesome memories from the 90s when I was in my 20s.
I feel what you’re saying. This show has made me think about “time travel re-do’s,” too. And I realize that I wouldn’t want to relive a lot of stuff. I’ve worked hard to be where I am. And I wonder if Becca is coming to that realization, too, especially after the Season Finale.
I wouldnt hold my breath for a S2 renewal. This is a classic case of solid series/wrong network.
I’m glad to see others love this show as much as I do
I hope it gets renewed the 90s references make me so nostalgic
I don’t want Becca and lolly’s friendship to end but I kinda like Becca with Kevin more than the other guys
I just hope that Lolly & Becca can work it out. Lolly IS the love of Becca’s life.
I love this show but I think I like her with both Andy and Kevin ..and I’m really rooting for Sean and black girl who I cant ever remember her name on the show but remember her being drew sadora on the Game and causing Darion and Melody to break up !
Love this show! But I agree with the other viewer who said it’d be nice to see Becca single for the second season. Surprisingly, I’m liking her and Kevin together.
In my opinion, the onscreen chemistry b/w Kevin and becca just isn’t there. I’m not really digging that relationship..it seems very forced
I’ll be so mad if this the end! Way too many unanswered questions! Good ending if there’s another season terrible if “that’s all she wrote” you owe us fans a good ending!
Please, please, please bring Himdsite back for a second season!!! I LOVE this show!!!
Omg so what happens? They better renew!! Hope it comes bback great show!
Love this show! I do think Becca should just leave Kevin alone. She doesn’t end up with him in the original future either, and there is a good reason for that. She is just losing Lolly for nothing. I hope she gets back with Andy, and the flash forward to her wedding day with him will be their anniversary or renewal of vows, with a couple of their children participating…lol
I’m glad to see other positive feedback on the show; I’ve really enjoyed it & hope it is renewed for a second season. It’s the only show I catch almost always as the new episode airs. I think many of the characters were developed well within the first set of episodes. Please keep it, VH1
Amen. I had forgotten that VH+1 existed until this show. “Hindsight” is the best thing that’s happened to this network in years. Please renew it!
This show is my new guilty pleasure! Please come back with seasons 2, 3, and more. This show takes me back to my favorite years in the 90’s. Love Hindsight!!!!
This is the best show on the air…Please, please online this show … :)
In the last post I meant Please Renew this show …It’s by FAR the best show on the air. I have never waited all week before hanging and waiting for the next episode for any other show ..VH1, THIS SHOW IS A WINNER
Bring it back for season two! This show is so adorable and perfect. I love reliving 90s memories, I mean who doesn’t?
Please, I am begging you to continue making many more seasons of this show!!! The last time I loved a show this much was in the 90’s (90210). I will help you celebrate your last show- ten to twenty years from now, don’t let me down VH1!!!!!
Hindsight is My favorite show! Please bring back a second season. Look foward to watching every wednesday!
This show is fantastic, leaves me on the edge of my recliner each episode. I am 35 years old and I can totally relate to Becca.
Kevin & Becca must continue. The chemistry is undeniable.
I want a season2 of hindsight!!!!!! I loved it!! -!!!!!!
I would love a renewal for hindsight by far the best scripted series I have seen that keeps me wanting more!!!! It’s a feel good show and hope there will be a season 2!!!!! Love love love this show!!!!
This is my favorite show right now. I’m obsessed!! I really hope there’s a 2nd season.
I love this show! Please renew for season2! Reminds me of my 20s & how I couldn’t have gotten through them without my friends.
First of all, thank you Vh1 for finally putting a well scripted show, with a great cast, director, and production, and not to forget great reminiscing of the 90’s and its music!!! I love the 90’s, I just hoped it was more than 10 episodes, I wanted more! I Even kept checking the TV ratings hoping it will get another season. plz don’t cancel it will get veiwers, just give it time for everyone to catch up. And I cant wait until next year to see the unfolding of cliffhangers for season 2, because the current veiwers may not remember where we left off, or might loose some of the excitement of tuning in each week. I Will watch it, either way, but I just can’t wait to see Kevin, Becca and Andy love triangle. I am #teamandy, but just for a little while #teamkevin
️A message to vh1, some of the viewers for Hindsight are of an older age groups 25-49, and with all the reality shows on vh1, no one expects to see a well written series on your network. so perhaps you might want to partnership with another network like Lifetime, CW or even E! I Would never watch your channel, but oneday I saw a commercial for the show on YouTube and thought to give it a try. I love Hindsight, keep it up.
I love the show so does my husband, no other shows out there about 90’s fun to reminisce! Hope theres a next season, dont leave us hanging!
What a great show! Please renew it! Put it on Netflix and do an “Arrested Development” campaign, or whatever you need to do!
Okay…SPOILER ALERT. If you haven’t seen the Season Finale, the rest is for those of us who have:
I was totally surprised by the surprise wedding of Melanie & Andy! Awesome.
I actually cried when Becca’s brother Jamie bid farewell to Lolly and I am worried that he will die and break her heart. I care about Lolly. She IS the integrity of the Whole Show. And Here’s why:
Once Lolly figured out that Becca had already done her wrong with Kevin in Becca’s “past,” she tells Becca that:
Just because she came back to “fix” their relationship doesn’t take away the fact that – for Becca – she already DID this horrible thing…TO Lolly.
It doesn’t matter if it’s THIS Lolly or THAT Lolly (of Becca’s past)…and This Lolly KNOWS this truth.
Lolly is true to Herself…even the self that was betrayed in a – for her – hypothetical future.
Lolly told Becca that the horrible things she has done IS who she is and that Lolly doesn’t want a friend like that. Lolly is the ONE thing in Becca’s life that remains true. Lolly IS integrity, itself.
Becca needs Lolly more than she knows. She MUST make amends. There is something she can do to make it right and transform the “lemons” of her character into “lemonade”:
Becca can go “BACK TO THE FUTURE” – Becca’s “original” future (I don’t know HOW she’ll do this. You show-creator people can somehow work it out) and Find Lolly and apologize to her for what Becca’s done 10 years ago. Becca can admit to Lolly that She Alone is responsible for her actions. She can offer to make an amends to Lolly. Remember, the Lolly of THIS past does not appreciate the things Becca did to the Lolly of Becca’s past. Unless Becca makes it right with the FIRST LOLLY SHE EVER KNEW, she will never gain the respect and forgiveness of ANY LOLLY IN ANY TIMELINE, because Lolly has integrity and never changes, no matter the circumstances and/or the timeline.
Becca’s relationship with Lolly is the most important thing in her life…in any lifetime. That is the one takeaway anyone watching the show knows in their bones.
Becca is on a hero(ine)’s journey. She must brave time and space to save what is most precious to her…and that is Lolly. If she makes this right – without lies and being too afraid to face the uncomfortable truth – everything else in her life will fall into place.
