Horses Question

I need some advice

I have a pony named Jack and he is 13hh and 19yo. In a little while I will be too big for Jack.. He is getting old and so he will soon be incapable of doing what I want him to. I have found a new horse that is perfect for me.

So whats the problem? My parents. They think Jack is still perfect and that he will be for a long time. I have had Jack for a long time and I need a new horse, but I can't convince my parents.

Get your parents to watch you ride Jack. If he is getting too old and too small for you, they have to see it when you are riding. If that doesn't work, call up your vet and have him/her tell your parents Jack is too old be be ridden, and that you need another horse. The same thing happened to me and I called my vet, and she convinced my parents. Hope I helped

Also when you're riding, I dint know if there are any visible signs he's too old, but if there are your parents may realize it.

horses, are wonderful, and loyal. And even if you got rid of you're horse , and got another one, you might forget about the horse , but the horse won't
forget about u. So i advise you to keep him, and not do the mistake i did.
