There was this one scene, namely when Barney finds out that Robin's leaving for her job to Chicago. I really felt how his heart broke. I think the story isn't over yet. I'm sure Barney will continue to grow as a character and in the future he will confess his feelings to Robin.

He's been in love with her since Zip Zip Zip and he's never going to stop loving her. He said so himself in his post-breakup letter in Twin Beds. I just hope they get together again and that when the show ends, Aunt Robin and Uncle Barney are together and happy. :]
