Creator Peter Nowalk and producer Shonda Rhimes have never shied away from sexing it up on
, but Thursday night’s episode made everything that’s come before it look like foreplay. Annalise and the Keating Five took on a case in which a holistic sex worker was accused of killing her client during the act, Conner and Oliver celebrated their own version of D-Day, and the possibility of the Hapstall siblings hooking up was finally addressed, birthing the term “sibcest.”
One person not getting it on during season 2’s third episode: Frank. That’s right, the man who used to sleep with students by the dozen continued to turn down Laurel in favor of the two getting to know each other. Another twist came when we saw Wes align with Nate, who then ushers the law students into his car the night Annalise is left bleeding out at the Hapstall mansion.
We checked in with Charlie Weber, the man behind TGIT’s best beard, to see what he thought of “It’s Called the Octopus” and what we can expect from next week’s episode.
Favorite moment from last night’s episode/favorite moment to film: My favorite moment of the episode is the same as my favorite moment of filming this episode and that is when Frank tells Laurel a few things about his past. It’s a fleeting moment but very revealing.
Last night’s most jaw-dropping moment: The moment that made my jaw drop was at the end of Thursday’s episode when we go to the night Annalise was shot and see that Nate pulls up in his squad car and yells at the students to get in.
Most suspicious character: Levi is the most suspicious character because he’s a total wildcard that is poking around in Frank and Annalise’s business.
Teaser for next week: Expect more madness, including Annalise being presented with a shocking request from a very unlikely person.
