If it wasn't for this scene, then the chain of events wouldn't have led to the last scene in "Help Me". One of the rare times both were honest to each other, no games whatshoever. :)

I agree with salemslot! That's why I chose this! Otherwise "Who's your daddy" would have been my choice ;)

I would choose the scene in the episode Let them eat cake, but that's not an option!
That it's cool too

O loved this. She is reaching out to him. She knows he is lonely and I suspect she realises he has a thing for her, but she is not prepared to go there and deal with the drama. BUT she wants him in her life. His response tells her exactly how he feels. Straight Forward and Honest.

The Softer Side is also high on my list. He desperatley wanted to hear her say it's because she cares for him, but they are both so guarded about their emotions. Her face however tells him.

Then Brave Heart, He was just back, she knew about his hallucination, and he wanted her to know that his feeling for her is more than just drug induced. She does do something to him deep inside.

The others on the list are all special and I agree with @BoingHuddy the scene in let them eat cake is epic. Especially when she walks out, he looks at the floor and says F%$# !! He new he'd wasted an opportunity.

I learned alot reading everyone's comments...so interesting.

I guess to me the "book" seemed a meaningful (psychological) metaphor for their relationship, b/c for the most part..House held Cuddy in his mind "like a book on a shelf." He did not act or connect with his feelings until after Mayfield, by then too late.

Giving Cuddy this book..at the 11th hour, it was as if it was all he had left to give to her, making it seem a desperate attempt, perhaps in defeat to acknowledge her choice to move on...and his own loss. It made the idea of "Huddy" seem very real to me...that it was there..unconnected..enveloped in the darkness of the office and that night.
