Oh, and the Huli comment that I couldn't post on the Hugh Laurie-ous thread:

I feel like when Hugh is with Stephen, he can be goofy and laugh and have a good time, but he also suddenly seems older. You can see this when you watch the Fry and Laurie: Reunited clips; Hugh is able to relax because he is in the familiar comfort of the past. It's obvious that he has fun reminiscing with Stephen.

But, recently we've also had the contrasting view that Hugh seems YOUNGER. This is especially apparent in the show: it's really undeniable once his clothes are off in "Now What" xD. So I think this is the contrast between Hugh's relationship with Stephen and his relationship with Lisa. It's absolutely wonderful to see how relaxed he is with Stephen, while they are talking about all the memories they share. We certainly haven't seen him laugh like that when he's on the red carpet with Lisa (most likely because public events just make him uncomfortable in general). But this is once again the difference between a "comfortable love" (the love I believe that Hugh has for both Stephen and Jo), and the passionate love I believe he has for Lisa. He really does seem younger when he's with her, and his eyes soften in a way that you don't see when he's with anyone else, Stephen included.

Haha, please excuse my rambling mind. That's just what popped into my head after watching the clips :)

@HL you make some interesting points. I had only noticed that Hugh looked really relaxed and at ease, like he was just enjoying himself with SF. And I thought, here this proves again that he has changed, he's 'happier' now. But what you're saying makes sense too I think.

Hello all! I am coming back from a long trip today, spent ALOT of time thinking and I've come up with a very good theory on EVERYTHING and its a good, positive, happy theory.
