- he failed to mention whom he took that roadtrip with; alone, maybe, but had he taken it with his family, it would have come up
- he tried to look amused by Leno's "wife at the airport" story (which was funny), but didn't quite manage; it was pretty obvious he didn't want to push the "wife" subject further
- him pretending not to know what erotic scenes were shot for the premiere was hilarious, and it implied that he had them on his mind heavily - only when something is an absolute truth, that we are fully aware of, we play the little "i don't know what you're talking about" charade
- his comment about the "hard, hard" work was beyond my expectations - for him to openly imply and overstress how much fun he had... AY AY AY!
- his reaction to Leno's "explaining it to the wife" comment was slightly awkward; it was smth like "yeah, i know what you're saying", but it was also a bit off - again, not comfortable around the "wife" subject; is there still a wife in the picture, Sir Hugh?
All in all, i adore him more each second, and i was impressed and pleasantly surprised by how amused and playfully "embarassed" and ultimately pleased he was around the whole "sex scenes" subject, which i thought he would avoid like dynamite...
have you noticed that hugh mentioned how fun it was the roadtrip ?
he used the word 'FUN " that's very odd cuz last time he was on the tonight show and in many other interviews he Insist that he find it hard to have fun.
MAY BE he has changed
Actually he said once that dr house as character is liberating>> LOL , so i hope he is having real fun
It's nice to see the show has done something for him other than the fame and the money of course
Not to switch threads, but this is pretty minor, my first thought when I heard him start talking was that he seemed more american than he's sounded in prior interviews, accent a little less polished, posture, way he talked... well except for the shepherds pie bit :)
I do to @pc -- I liked that proper british gent appearance, still like him of course, just had to be some changes I suppose after staying this long in the states
@whimsicalone -- Maybe he was coming from shooting so he couldn't go back to his original accent.
"just had to be some changes I suppose after staying this long in the states" -- Especially if he's staying in the States during his vacation... ;D
All it will take is 1 trip back to the UK and that accent will be as strong as ever. The minute he starts talking to his friends and relaxing among them, the British gent will be back.
Be NOT affraid !!!
He is after all "And ENGLISHMAN to his core." (His words)
I know I should go to bed but I can't yet...still enjoy watching the vid but I'm gonna say something that might get everyone mad at me *cringes* I really don't like the English accent, I like the Irish and Scottish one better and I really liked how he spoke this time but I'm just the American fan
*shrugs shoulders* *waits to be attacked*
I know that every one here loves his English accent and I've never been a fan of England, my mom has a friend in Scotland and I've always loved her accent and I didn't want to offend anyone on here thats all. Even though Hugh is from England I still love him! (but he's not pure English, he is from a Scottish family!)
Too gorgeous XD Gorgeous man, in a rocking body, hell sexy, British accent, talented actor, fine musician, exquisite writer, smart guy, funny and wise....am I forgetting sth?
I was distracted by the laptop coverage!!!!! XD XD XD I wanted to make a comment on that...but then, you see, auto-censorship measures :P besides...I'd better save these kind of remarks for Hugh L->icious XD
i love hugh and his original accent and the fake one
and i love anyone who loves him too.
which mean i love all hugh/ house fans
i feel there is bond between us , i mean look at us we are up to late watching ,looking and making vid
we all pathetic in lovely way
BEST FAN FOREVER

Good point! This interview was so pleasantly surprising :-))
@reebaila "MAY BE he has changed"
I think that "to wear the House clothes" has been for him like to undergo seven years of psychoanalysis. It's not a coincidence that it's increasingly difficult for me at least to distinguish the character and the man. It seems that there is a constant interchange between the two "parts"
@pc "He has a very active tongue..."
This comment is the best food for my dirty mind XD XD
" ijust want you to know it is 17 inch " hahaha
i think this very Embarrassing for hugh's childern don't you think ??
can't wait till season 7 starts

You have every right to like his American accent and dislike his English one! :)
