When we arrived, he turned me around and stormly pushed me against the car. "Oh, wow. Easy, Mr Smoulderhalder", I amused slowed him down and gave him a kiss. He pouted. "Oh no. No. No, no, no, no", I reminded him and playfully started to punch him. But not for long, because he prevented this by putting his arms tightly around me and hugging me. He knew very well that I couldn't resist him if he made such a face. "Okay, Miss Dobrev but then I suggest we go somewhere else", he cheerfully said. "Em.. and where exactly is 'somewhere else'?", I demanded curiously. "A nice place". A nice place? Wow, what a bad hint. That could be anywhere. He is.. mean and always teasing me - not that it wouldn't appeal to me but though, I secretly thought and pictured places where we could possibly go. "Um, I guess you won't tell me more about it anyway, so let's go and do the unavoidable". I stook out my tongue. "You dare something", he announced and started tickling me. I had to laugh and to wind myself. After a while I could free myself and ran away. A small distance away from him I stopped. "Didn't we want to go somewhere else?", I strengthened said on purpose. "Actually yes but we can't until you little grasshopper get into the car", he responded sarcastic. "Grasshopper? Seriously? Didn't you come up with anything better?", I teased him. "Well, my list of nicknames is soon exhausted.. but there's one name left I'd love to call you..", he began kinda making a big deal about it. "What would that be?", I inquired. Nervousness took hold in me. "Nah, I can't say that now but I swear that I'll tell you. Someday when it's the right moment. Now it's still too soon. You would understand if you knew.. however, I'll tell you. Sooner or later. I promise". Okay.. what should that mean again? Now he had made me really nervous but I didn't want to press him although is little games drove me kinda a little crazy. I went closer to him and took his hand. "Fine. I won't annoy you, though I wanna know what it is but I know you like secrets and surprises. But I hope for your own well-being that that nickname is a real awesome one and deserves to be remained as a secret otherwise I would be really disappointed.. and also a little angry.. and you know what could happen when I'm angry, right?". I ran my finger up and down his chest. Then I tapped with my forefinger on his chest one last time, so to speak as a final warning and went towards his car. "No, we really don't want that.", he whispered and quickly joined to my side. Like a real gentleman he opened the car door and helped me getting in.
While driving we joked and laughed a lot and sang the songs that were played on the radio. About fifteen minutes later we arrived at a little ice-cream shop. We entered and sat down on a small, lovely terrace with a view to a peaceful lake. "This is beautiful. Where do you know this shop?", I wanted to know. "Matt has recommended it to me" - "Who knew Matt Davis is a romantic..", it slipped out of my mouth. - "Well, does that mean you find this place is romantic?", Ian asked nervously. "Um, sure. Wasn't that your plan?", I asked expectantly."Actually, it was", he answered and grinned heartily.
We ordered two ice-cream sundaes. He took a cup of mint ice-cream and I chose a chocolate cup. Unexpectedly, he took my spoon and started to eat my ice-cream. "Hey, give it back! That's unfair! You have your own one!", I complained. We fooled around until I finally had my spoon back. Thereafter he looked at me with begging face because he wanted another taste of it. "Only if I can also have something of your cup. Deal?" - "Hm, let me think about it.. okay, deal". And already, we began to feed each other. "Ian! Come on, you little joker. You spilled on me. My entire face is full of ice-cream", I told him and started giggling. "Then wait quickly. I know a simple way to get rid of it", he offered. "I advise you that it's a really good way. You know..", I was just about to rant, as ...
