Part24- Mysteries

Days went by as Raimon trained and continued to get stronger. No one knew when Aliea Gakuen would appear, but they all felt that it would be very soon.

Meanwhile, everyone noticed that Satsuki had become a different person. She always smiled, laughed, and talked to everyone as if nothing had ever happened, but the team could tell that it was fake. The air around Satsuki never seemed right. She had let go of her troubles, but it had left her as an empty shell. Everyone noticed it except for herself.

Fubuki had problems of his own. So many times had he attempted to talk to Satsuki and so many times he had failed. He had wanted to know why he felt a sense of familiarity around her, but there was never a chance to talk with her alone.

Satsuki stood at the top of the snowy slope and watched as the team snowboarded. By each passing day, everyone was getting used to the speed and were now ready to fight the aliens.

"Hi Satsuki!"

The sudden voice behind Satsuki startled her and nearly sent her sliding down the hill was it not for the hand that steadied her back into position. It had been Fubuki standing behind her, giving his usual smile.

"Hi Fubuki," Satsuki said with her sweet smile,"How do you think everyones trainings going." Both looked up the slope to see everyone doing everything perfectly.

"The team is getting used to the speed." Fubuki answered,"I think we're ready to face the Aliens."

Satsuki's smile turned into a frown as she put her hands on her hips and looked at the sky.

"The Aliens........"

Fubuki looked at Satsuki with sympathy knowing what Aliea Gakuen had done. Then, remembering what he had came to do he changed his facial expression and straightened up.

"Satsuki? Can I ask you something?"

Satsuki looked at him with her electric blue eyes. "Yes, what's wrong?"

But before the question could come out of his mouth, an image popped up in Fubuki's mind and slowly disappeared.

~Fubuki and Atsuya sat side-by-side in the snow, talking, only they were not alone. A much younger version of Satsuki was smiling and listening to their conversation intently, with wide, blue eyes....~

He stood frozen in place with his mouth hanging open from the shock of the sudden image. It had made no sense to him. He had no recollection of the thing he had seen.

Satsuki reached over and gently shook Fubuki's shoulder. "Fubuki? Are you alright?"

Before he could answer an angry voice came calling from behind them. It was Someoka's.

"Fubuki!" he yelled out,"I challenge you to a soccer battle!"

Satsuki sighed and crossed her arms. "Someoka? Why do you want to have a soccer battle with Fubuki?"

"I want to use the result of my training against him," he answered.

"So, what your saying is," Fubuki started,"This is a match to pick Raimon's ace striker."

Someoka gave a small chuckle,"That's a fine way of thinking about it."

"Hitomiko kantoku?" Satsuki asked quietly,"Are you really going to let them do this?"

Hitomiko gave her a small smile, turned and started to walk in the direction of the soccer field.

Satsuki sighed and pulled her gloves tighter on her hands. "I thought you said that no one could take Gouenji's place," she said to Someoka.

He turned red. "It's only temporary. I'm just going to save his place."

Everyone headed toward the field to watch the battle between Fubuki and Someoka. This match would pick the new ace striker of Raimon.

Satsuki put her hands on her head and blew at a strand of hair that had fallen in front of her eye. "As always, Someoka's letting his jealousy over power him." She sighed,"I wonder how long it'll be till he stops picking on Fubuki."

Haruna giggled beside her. "First Someoka-kun tries to win his place as ace striker against Gouenji-kun. Now it's against Fubuki-kun!"

They began to pass the school as Haruna brought out her laptop and tapped on the keys.

"What are you doing," Natsumi asked.

Haruna beat frustratedly on her laptop. "I'm trying to figure out the location of Aliea Gakuen, but somethings blocking my computer!"

Satsuki glanced over and saw the brand name that was labeled on the side of the laptop. She sighed,"Here, let me see it Haruna." Haruna looked at her with an unsure expression, but handed her laptop to Satsuki.

Immediately, Satsuki's hands flew over the keyboard. Boxes popped up all over the screen, one after the other, until Satsuki finally closed the last one and gave Haruna her laptop back. As she looked up, Satsuki found that most everyone was looking at her.

"Satsuki-san!" Haruna exclaimed,"How did you do that!?"

Domon leaned against a nearby tree. "Satsuki's the daughter of the inventor and owner of the worlds most mass produced electronics. Most everything that's computer related is made by her dad. That's why Satsuki knows all about electronics and how to hack into them."

Satsuki turned red,"I wouldn't really call it hacking..."

At the same moment, everyone began to pull out their cell phones and compared them to the company mark that was on Haruna's laptop. They were all the same.

"Satsuki-san?" Kurimatsu asked,"Does that mean your rich?"

Satsuki's face turned redder. "W-well...."

"Are you a lady like Natsumi-san?" Kabeyama asked.

Satsuki glanced at Natsumi and smiled. "Well, if I am a lady, I'm one that can actually cook!"

Natsumi cringed and slowly turned toward Satsuki with a fake, but scary smile. "Would you care to repeat that?" she asked as her eye twitched.

Everyone laughed as they continued their walk towards the field. Satsuki laughed and talked with the others until she felt something strange. She looked towards the windows of Hakuren and saw a shadowy figure looking down at her through the curtains.

"I can know the whereabouts of Gemini Storm in about an hour," Haruna said as she closed her laptop,"It'll be done loading by the time we're done..... Hey! Satsuki-san? Where are you going?"

Satsuki had started to walk in the direction of the school entrance. The figure in the window seemed suspicious and she wanted to find out who the person was. "I just need to go get something," she said,"I'll be back in a little while!"

Satsuki walked along the side of the hallways until she got to the room where she had seen the figure. The room she had found herself walking into was the room with the piano in it.

She slowly walked inside, looking around for a mysterious person, but found that no one was in sight. Satsuki sighed and shook her head. She must have imagined it. As she reached the piano, Satsuki glided her hands across the keys feeling the urge to play.......

"Planning to play something for me?"

The sudden voice startled Satsuki and made her catch her breathe. She quickly turned towards the door where the voice had come from to see a boy with red hair, her age, standing with his hands in his pockets.

"W-Who are you?" Satsuki asked without sounding too afraid.

The boy gave a sly smile and walked over to the window. His sharp green eyes looked out towards the snowy landscape until they landed on the soccer field where the soccer battle had already begun. He looked at Satsuki and leaned against the wall.

"Who I am doesn't matter," the boy said,"I'm just here to give you a warning."

"A warning?" Satsuki asked in confusion,"Why and from who?"

The boy smiled again,"For years, Aliea Gakuen has looked out for possible soccer players that could ruin their plans. Players with the strength and courage that could beat our trained players."

"Wait," Satsuki said,"What plans? And beat your trained players? Do you mean Gemini Storm?"

The boy ignored all of these questions and continued. "Throughout these years, we've found players in Japan who have become legendary." He held out a picture of Gouenji.

Satsuki gasped,"W-Why....."

The boy continued by bringing out more pictures. She didn't recognize many of the people, but then her own appeared. "Our plan was to rid soccer from all of these players, so that they could not become a threat to Aliea Gakuen's plans."

Tears formed in Satsuki's eyes. "So, Aliea Gakuen is responsible for Yuuka's accident? Are they the reason he willing left the team in the week I was gone?"

"Actually," the boy said,"Gouenji's sisters accident was done by Kageyama, but he works with us from time to time. Teikoku Gakuen's soccer team also helped to get rid of the skilled players. Only, they didn't know it..."

Satsuki figured, but.... "But, you haven't done anything to me....."

The boy stood up returned his gaze out the window. "Your parents have done everything they could the past years to get you to stay away from soccer so you could be safe, but they failed."

Satsuki froze,"What? My parents?"

"Yes, but you can ask them about this yourself. All I came here to do was to tell you to watch your back. If Raimon gets too close to finding out Aliea Gakuen's secrets, the people you love will get hurt. Your lucky I told Reize to take it easy on you. That broken ankle was your first warning, this is your second. I'll let you continue to play soccer for a little while longer...."

Satsuki interrupted him,"So, your saying that you KNOW Raimon is going to beat Gemini Storm? There are more teams?"

The boy closed his eyes and walked towards the door. "You'll see. And I'll see you soon." The disappeared through the door leaving Satsuki completely confused, but terrified.

Satsuki slowly walked out of the school and headed towards the field where everyone was sitting, taking a break. " They must have taken a break," Satsuki thought,"I wonder who won the soccer battle..." She was still shaken up from the visit from the mysterious stranger. She had to make sure that everyone she loved was safe.... She had to find out what her parents were keeping from her....

All of a sudden, there was a sudden shift in the air and the sky turned dark. A flash of lightning shot out through the sky. When Satsuki looked again towards the field, she saw that a group of people had appeared on the field..... no, they were aliens! Aliea Gauken had appeared. Without another thought, Satsuki ran, as fast as she could, towards the field. It was time to beat Gemini Storm.
