“Just play along.” Shippo whispered in my ear. He marched across the cave and started to walk out onto the cliff just outside the waterfall.

“Where are you going?” One of the wolf men asked.

“I’m taking her outside for a but. She needs some fresh air.” He tried to walk out but the wolves stopped him.

“Wait,” another wolf man said. “Koga went on patrol half an hour ago.” Shippo changed back. I grabbed him and ran out onto the cliff.
