He could still hear the sound of the gun firing in his ear. Itsuki Koizumi had just watched his fiance, Haruhi Suzumiya, get shot by some thug. He didn't even try to stop him. He was now propping Haruhi up in his arms, and watched the thug run away. She was shot in the heart, there was no way she was going to live, and he knew it. He clutched onto the barely breathing Haruhi as tears rolled fastly down his face. He was a silent crier, he was trying to keep calm. Keep calm? His fiance was dying!
He pulled the hair out of her face and tucked it behind her ear. Her eyes were wide, not really blinking.
"H-Haruhi! Say something!" He said, resisting the urge to shake her.
Haruhi's eyes blinked once. She tried to turn to him. She took a shakey breath. "I-I'm sorry.... I l-love you..." She took one last shakey breath, and closed her eyes. Knowing her day was coming soon. Itsuki placed his hand over the blood soaked part of her shirt. He too blew in a shakey breath, and let out a long sigh and began to weap, not very silently this time. He layed down, bringing Haruhi's courpse with him, like a life-size doll.
