Jason will be honored as the 2010 Humanitarian of the Year at Liquid Nation Ball 7, the official fundraiser for the SIMA Humanitarian Fund, on Saturday, August 14, in La Jolla, California.
Established in 2006, the SIMA Humanitarian Fund was created to serve as the humanitarian arm of the Surf Industry Manufacturers Association by raising money from the public through fundraisers and solicitations. The SIMA Humanitarian Fund uses these funds to promote and support surf or board sport related social and humanitarian non-profit organizations whose efforts are focused on improving the quality of life, health, and/or welfare of people.
Liquid Nation Ball, held annually every September at the La Jolla, California, home of Fernando Aguerre, serves as the main fundraising source for the SIMA Humanitarian Fund. Please click here for more information on Liquid Nation Ball.
