I had heard of her, but THG was the first thing I properly saw her in :)

First time I saw her was in X-Men First Class!

I heard about her when the 2011 Golden Globes nominees were announced and then I saw her in "Winter's Bone" not so long after the Oscars ceremony.

I don't think so. I'm certainly glad that I do now though!
