Elle Girl: I want to know what you did the past week.
Jessica: This past week was like a time for me to recharge. No, I actually didn't even get to rest that well. I went on some variety shows, did CFs and photoshoots. I've also been working on SNSD's Japan album. I also went to Taiwan for a fashion event. Talking about it now, it seems I've become busy again. Still, this week was a time for me to rest. When I have personal time, I don't go out a lot. I'm most comfortable staying at home, and like it the most. I just watch old movies and just bum around. Although it seems like I'm just wasting time, there's a lot that I learned during that time.



Elle Girl: I watched you make your musical debut in 'Legally Blonde' as Elle Woods. I was a bit surprised when I saw how perfectly you played the role. You also made an attempt in acting through the drama 'Wild Romance'. Is there an area of work, other than singing, that you're interested in?
Jessica: Singers of this generation are entertainers. You can't just sing. I think of it as a chance, and want to pull out a growing me from that. While I should take a chance in more areas, acting is...

when jessica was asked how it felt doing a photoshoot alone on a rainy street, she said there weren’t any difficulties bc she’s done shoots on rainy days before. she said she’s just feels a bit sad that her members aren’t around to play with her. She also said she didn’t like the rain when she was little, but has taken a liking to them lately. she said she listens to music that’s good for a rainy day and enjoys it.

Jessica said that her first acting attempt with ‘Wild Romance’ was a charm, and that she would like to do it again if given the chance. she said the drama itself wasn’t that hard, but it was difficult adjusting her schedule with the multiple overseas schedules she had at that time. there was also the fact that she was cast abruptly, so she didn’t have that much time to prepare. she’s sad she wasn’t able to do as much as she wanted to, and, although difficult/tiring, that it was still fun. she said it was fun pulling out her emotions. her character was one that had a lot of mood swings, so there were difficult moments, but she was still happy because it was a new challenge for her. she said she wants to take on a mellow or cheerful...

On the 26th of January broadcast of the drama, they received a viewer rating of 6.4% which is an increase from their previous rating of 6.2% percent. In just one day the number of viewers increased and its seems that it's because of Jessica's more airtime on the episode.

Fans have already been anticipating Jessica's appearance on the drama as it is Jessica's debut to act in a drama series, she already has experience performing in a musical giving her a background on acting.

meanwhile, MBC "The moon that embraces the sun" has surpassed their previous 30% viewer rating and achieved 31.7% while SBS "Take care of us, Captain" got 8.5% viewer rating.
