Here is a list of why I like Jim Carrey.

1. He does stand up comedian and is good at it.

2. He plays wacky charcthers like Stanley Ipkiss from The Mask, Bruce Nolan from Bruce Almighty lol, and other hilarious charcthers.

3. Serious roles are a no no for him as his too boring for those kind of roles.

4. He has a great personal

5. His hilarious in almost every movie I saw him in.

6. He makes me laugh all the time.

7. You gotta love the weird facial expressions.

8. His a great actor and is pretty good looking too may I add.

9. He worked with some great actresses like Cameron Diaz started her film career with Jim in The Mask which is scary yet funny at the same time.

10. He can sing a bit too

I see Jim Carrey poking fun at establishments, societal rules and the bullies of the world and as an Asperger Female, I can appreciate his humour (I became a teacher and found so many humourless teachers out there...I became a teacher even though I despised school as a child....I wanted to be a sociologist and take an inside look....and I found that, yes, many teachers are indeed jerks....and many do depend on the teacher's answer book...

There were a few teachers I admired....most squashed the kids, usually the brightest and most creative ones....the ones that didn't just grab hold of drudgery.....the bad teachers took themselves too seriously....and usually they had a principle in their pocket....

Creative souls like Jim Carrey are the sanity watchers...they remind us to not lose our marbles...if we lose our perspective and our humour....we can become pretty scary....most pyscho's don't have a sense of humour.

I am glad Jim Carrey grew up in a home where his unique personality was nurtured....I came from a home where no one had a sense of humour.....my dad, my step-mom, my older sister...they laughed at cruelty and had an orc, troll humour...they could never laugh at themselves.

I believe that to be healthy we need to make sense or meaning out of our experiences....what can I learn from this....I try to do that...sometimes it is difficult....I had alcoholic grandparents too and my dad said he was an alcoholic (though I never saw him drunk often...maybe two times in my life)...but he liked the sympathy he got saying that he was an alcoholic....my Aunt was an alcoholic and died from the addiction.....my Aunt had a sense of humour but had too many creativity crushers around her.

I like that Jim is supporting Jenny and her son......and marriage isn't for everyone.....sometimes it changes a relationship....especially if one has fame.....who wants to be married for their money.....fameous people have to be careful....
