The characters that appeal to me most, or I feel most attached to, are Edward Scissorhands and Sam from Benny & Joon. I can definitely relate to them most. They are both very sweet, kind and loving characters...yet are outcasts because of the way they look or act. I have loved and cherished both of these films starting at a young age...and that is when I discovered Johnny Depp. I feel a kind of magic when I watch these films, and now every time I watch them, I get flashbacks of my own past, feeling different from everyone else. Johnny Depp has shown me that it is OK...in fact, good...to be different. Because of his films, I lost the fear of feeling weird. He really has changed my life in such an amazing way!
'Johnny Depp has shown me that it is OK...in fact, good...to be different. Because of his films, I lost the fear of feeling weird.' I TOTALLY AGREE WITH THIS! ^.^ I accepted myself as an asexual and eccentric person because of Willy Wonka and a romantic daydreamer because of Don Juan Demarco. ♥ I do not hide my real personality anymore!
Wow, that's a tough one. I'd probably have to say the Mad Hatter or J.M. Barrie. I just find something about Tarrant's look so mesmerizing. And James is just amazing, he's so adorable and has such an incredible imagination. Plus scottish accent's are amazing :D
My main 4 who mean A LOT to me: 1. Sweeney Todd because he's the most good looking (imo) and his whole story and life is sad but beautiful in so many ways! 2. Willy Wonka because he's asexual and antisocial like me! If he was a real person, he would be my best friend. ^^ 3. Don Juan Demarco because he's a daydreamer and believes in his own dream world like me. He gives me strength and courage to believe in my own fantasies! 4. Sam because he loves Joon even if she's 'different' I wish guys like that would really exist.
My four top faves would have to be Victor from the Corpse Bride, The Mad Hatter, Edward Scissorhands and Jack Sparrow because with the exception of Jack Sparrow all of them are misfits and I can deeply relate to that.
